I really don't care what people call it, future Subway I don't care. People need to stop being so sensitive about terminologies. This guy is out there doing it, the Real OG GOAT.
First of all love your videos. It's just us full time miner's it drives us nuts when thing are said wrong on mining. But I understand why you do it. Keep the asome videos coming. Thank you
I was born and raised in Nevada, northern Nevada. I was always taught to never go into abandoned mines, so this is giving me a nightmare, lol. I would be terrified to do this. Its interesting, but scary.
Many, many years ago I had a summer jobs with a three letter government agency that inspected and sealed abandoned mines all over Nevada. I was lucky enough to work with some grizzled old hard rock mines that taught me tons about mining. All in all I was very fortunate to get to know some of the old jackass prospectors that my dad was friends with and hear their stories. In short, I’ve been around miners and prospectors my entire 70 year old life. And you know what? Commonality of words used describing mining was almost non existent. Tons of slang sayings, not much of textbook sayings. It doesn’t matter to the story you are telling one bit, and actually, for most of it, a person of very average intelligence should have no problem figuring out what they are looking at. You just do you, it’s fine for 99% of us, and you will never get 100% accepted. The brick room was interesting to me, as I have only seen one other that was built with red building brick. In that case it was obviously for tool storage. Keep up the good work.
Hey, at last!....a normal video title - "We Explore a Tungten Mine...". Normally, this would have been something like- "I Stumble onto a Hidden Tungsten Mine in a Mysterious Valley...." Not only that, the content is good. No suggestions of "How is this possible" or "Is there a hidden meaning...?" Well done, I am impressed. A normal video with great footage and a normal title. Cheers to you!
I’m watching because I enjoy your explorations and the landscape they’re situated in. Your no-nonsense approach and genuine fascination carries over, often without words. I trust you know better about terminilogy than some keyboard warrior in his dark cubby hole - eating his second oversized pizza.
Have to keep in mind , in the 1940's , all non essential mining was shut down in the country , for the duration of the war . This created a few ghost towns in the Southwest , as the non essential mine , was the only source of income for some of the little towns .
Caught part of this on Bitchute before I switched over to "NewPipe" to watch the rest of it. Here's my take on this clown giving up a hard time. Keep doing what you are doing, it works just fine. Just because some "Engineer" with college words decides to pop off, doesn't mean a thing. Ignore the engineer and just bring us the fun. But do it safely though. I always worry for your personal safety, these places are downright dangerous and can collapse, but then again with your own knowledge you have a feel for them. Thanks from a real American Published Author and Poet who has gone through the same thing the engineer put you through and don't let it get you down at all, just have fun. Remember what Dirty Harry said "Everyone's got an opinion, just like assholes!"
Proper terminology doesn't bother me. I don't use big words to impress, I like to be to the point without unneeded words. Besides, if I can learn something while enjoying myself, that's ideal.
Who cares if the little runt's feeeeeels were hurt. Most likely he's a Ca. nitwit and has to use his toes to count to ten. Just keep doing what you're doing, all good so keep on trucking!
Love this eeries, but when you dont show tunnel or prospect ends its annoying as hell. Your first one in this vid is a perfect example. All we see is a black hole, thenbyou turn and walk away saying nothing. Just because you see the end doesnt mean we can. You can do better.
In defense of DT and other mine explorers, when they research old mining districts, many of the old maps describe "adits" as "tunnels" and vice versa. So, it makes sense that non-miners might use the terminology interchangeably, just like the surveyors in the past did. In any case, I would venture to say that 99% of the viewers are not miners and can immediately recognize what a tunnel is, whereas the word adit may actually be more confusing. But if you must go, then you must go.... 🤷♂️
You really got to be that pretentious? If it’s how people speak then it’s how they speak, get off your high horse and go sniff your own farts somewhere Grammar kitler

Don't change, I truly enjoy what you are doing. THANK YOU!
You do great and are who you are. Screw the critics.
I love the hills in the desert, thanks for the video

Digging for scheelite that contains tungsten ore which under UV light glows blue to orange depending on its content. That
was a fantastic explore.

I think an educational video is a great idea. I'd enjoy it! But, then again, I've enjoyed all your videos!

That does make for a boring video I agree
They are snowflakes, forget them.
Awwwww, you hurt a simple minded complaining Democrat. Boooo hoooooooo 😂
Your ate up, how did politics get involved.
Defending poor use of basic terminology? You ARE disparaging the individual, of course. Poor first impression. Bye bye!
