I remember Mort from his days in Philadelphia when I was growing up. He was my favorite newscaster back then, and certainly no buffoon. I also remember when he broke his leg after coming to the aid of a motorist involved in a traffic accident near his home. He was a class act then, and he's a class act now. And I have a feeling he truly enjoys Ron Burgundy.
