@@Sweet_Jelly39 sometimes to be fair, but usually it's from laughing at hikaru, not with ,at least for me. I know a lot of people who are masters at their craft, like IMO participants and such who are simply incredibly more talented and objectively incomparably more intelligent than the average person, yet they would never act so childishly as to have mood swings when they're not happy and pretend that they dont care, which is what Hikaru always does when somebody outplays or flags him in titled tuesday or smth. It's true he's one of the best, but there's no reason that should preclude humility in any way. In fact, the more mature one is, the more one lowers their head. I just feel like Hikaru never learnt how conduct himself because he always thought of himself as superior to others, which is frankly quite laughable.

@@APerson-si8jr i guess I watch since it's true he's good at the game and there are some instructive moments, and the editing is rly good, but I do think other players like Naroditsky and chessbrah are better content creators. All I'm saying is the content would be a lot better if Hikaru acted more maturely tbh.

3000 would be insane. Honestly I doubt that’s possible in a Botez gambit speedrun. Especially considering that Hikaru’s said the reason he wouldn’t do another one was because people know how to play against an early Queen sac now, by doing everything they can to trade down
In bullet though he can put insane pressure on. 3 min is completely different. Be interesting to see. 2800+ will be hard for sure

very good speed run this naka. you made it to 2500 in the blitz one before, I think you will probably get a bit higher in the bullet given how fast you are able to play, be interesting to see where the tipping point ends up.

The previous botez gambit speedrun was at blitz speeds (3 minutes). This one is bullet (1 minute). No one one earth is faster than Hikaru, which is why he thinks he can get 300 rating points further in faster games.
