Love the detail you go into. I first taught myself metrology at boeing using SA software in 2013 later received proper training through New River Kenamics advanced training for 5 weeks for tool construction. So how hard is it to pick up cmm analytics learning. What kind of training is out there for people looking to update or expand their learning?
So the way I see it, the software is a minor speedbump to get results. The biggest thing is knowing what you are looking for as far as geometry and tolerances. If you already have training like you mentioned, the Zeiss CMM software should come naturally. The college I teach at offers a course in the fall semester called “MFTS 214 Advanced Dimensional Metrology”
Videos are awesome and very useful! For someone who has completed the Zeiss Calypso basic training, what would you say are the most important things to focus on when going back to their shop attempting to program and operate the zeiss cmm on their own?
Hi, thanks so much! For you question: -Knowing when to use outer tangential instead of least squares (depends on whether you use ASME or ISO) -Using scanning only where needed, some features and characteristics can be picked up with points to save cycle time. -Using retract distance, clearance planes etc…. (I made a video about this)

The most important thing to focus on is all the puss you're gonna get with the lasers
Check out my channel for more CMM training videos. @R. Dean Odell
Thanks!
Thanks for watching!
Hello
How can you add notes to the reports for the inspector to check manually dimensions?
Good introduction sir
Thank you!
@@RDeanOdell well I'm also CMM incharge but not good as you
Bro can u make some video in cmm programing it will more useful to my carrier
Hi, check out my colleague’s programming content: #ITDMACHINIST
😊😊🎉🎉
Thanks!
Dear sir ... What is accuracy of CMM ( spectrum calypso)
