DK has the same dancing style as EXO's sehun, which is their main dancer. I don't know much about dancing, but DK's moves are very clean and simple. I never once thought he tends to underdance but his dancing pulls me in. He majored in practical dance and is one of the best dancers outside perf team tbh. People overlook his dancing skills because he is a main vocal, but his dancing is really excellent. Maybe even bettef than other group's main dancers. There's always a reason why DK is chosen as center on most parts, or when he was chosen to dance along w Perf team in ISAC. Their choreographer just knows that his dancing will be able to pull you in! As for rapping, it is with no doubt he can actually RAP. It's sad people tend to look on the funny side but with all seriousness this boy got MAD SKILLS. Carats need to appreciate MC doul tbh.
i was just rewatching this vid + rereading the commentary my very sleep deprived brain wrote and i did make it seem like dk underdances a lot, which really is NOT the case. whenever svt perform at music shows, award shows, etc. i don't think there's a single member who underdances, dk included. his movements are just very clean and simple as you said but i used to watch fancams of some of svt's more obscure performances at random ass festivals/concerts, where they would performed like 5+ songs, and remember watching dk and see him underdance in those specific cases (bc like they literally have to in order to conserve stamina). i guess for some reason i was just thinking of those specific performances while writing that part ???? idk why my brain was thinking about those performances, i'm sure the majority of carats haven't seen, but yeah that's totally my bad 😞
dk's thighs are one of the best asset he has that makes him look even more good when dancing and the fact that he has a lot of control and skills plus his perfect body proportion and physique not to mention this man's duality, vocals and visuals are insaaane also abt the isaac performance they chose that via rock paper scissors but sis dk pulled it off like literally!
Has he ever done a dance solo? Because it definitely is true that a lot of main vocalists don't necessarily dance to the absolute best of their ability if they're on stage singing live, it's just not the focus of their energy...Baekhyun comes to mind, too. I bet Dk has even more dance talent than he shows in a typical performance.

I can surely tell u are a DK stan, I mean I love seventeen and really adores this man, but u can explain every single thing that I love about this man, and it just come to me this is why I love him too. This is queen carats energy-
I fell in love deeper. He's my bias ever since I discovered them in 2016 and until now he still is. Everytime I watch their concert, DK would give me our own moment thus I never swerved any lane and sticked with him. DK will always make you feel special and will always be grateful to the love he receives from his fans.
his dancing is incredible to me. its not often that the main vocal is just as capable of being a lead dancer as a main ones(like u can rank best to worst dancers among svt, but it all comes down to VERY tiny things, like isolations or expressions or flexibility or strength, because there is NO WEAK DANCER IN SVT). even if he underdances(as a main vocal his voice is his top priority, so as u said its acceptable when dk and sk both underdance, because they make up for it during other parts) his isolations are so good as well as his growing expressions that he automatically places in top6 for whichever era(and all the comparisons ive seen state the same). svt's dance ability is such that the "weakest" dancer is at the same level as any other grp's main dancer, if not higher. that takes practise. dk sometimes takes a while to learn the moves(becoz of his other scheds) but once he learns it he ACES IT ALL. it appears effortless even. i started as a mingyu bias, then a cheol bias, then a josh and wonwoo, but dk wrecked me so hard he's no1 for me now. his vocals are outstanding, hes one of the strongest i have ever heard, in the world. beyond kpop. his singing for kai's musical and for GO!, as well as his other solo projects and vocal unit songs are so amazing too. FLY should be released officially, with the other ideal cut songs. his rapping is strong too, even if its not his job. i enjoy it immensely. his visuals are no joke. he keeps getting better and better every cb. whenever his stylist is specially competent he looks AMAZING(sometimes dislike the outfits but he makes it look amazing regardless, im jealous). his silly or aegyo looks are always fun to see, but when he sings he is so serious he takes my breath away. even for variety, as vernon says he doesnt filter it, so everything is ten times funnier and if its booseoksoon then toh....woah. he is truly amazing and i think he should be appreciated more. frankly tho, if u are a member of svt, youre an automatic ace. you can NEVER be bad at your job. youre the best of the best, thats why you are a part of svt.

I’m officially a baby carat as of about a month ago now.. I’ve always enjoyed seventeen and I’ve always thought they’re unmatched when it comes to choreography, performing or dance practices.. I have two ult groups who I absolutely love watching dance too but both groups are different because they’re all different with their group dynamic and with their talents as well. But since actually diving deeper into seventeen, watching Going Seventeen DK has caught my attention A LOT.. which was unexpected honestly.. in the best way possible. My fave group just based off of choreography will always be Seventeen. I love my two ult groups and their choreography because it’s unique to them and how they dance but they still don’t have what Seventeen has and I’m very much happy and okay about that. The groups i ult are the best in their way and I wouldn’t change them. I love that Seventeen is unmatchable when it comes to choreography (for me). Also, they’re quickly coming for the third ult group spot... something I never thought would happen is sharing that ult spot with one or more groups but here I am 😂. I love this man and I loved this video.. I even loved the tangents you went on cuz I pretty much agreed with it all. I still don’t know their history from debut and I’ll be getting to that soon but I’ve been behind on a lot of Kpop faves because I was in the hospital for a week after a surprise surgery... so during that week I saved a lot of stuff from everyone but I’m still healing atm and have not caught up yet or gotten back into the groove of Going Seventeen. I’m excited to get back to it tho. One thing I know for sure, I have endless content to watch and I’m happy getting to know Seventeen more! And so far the carats I’ve come across have been the sweetest and very welcoming... which is sadly difficult at times when people find out I’m army (my army bubble is peaceful and my safe space with BTS).. Wow, you're describing my opinion about SVT & DK PRECISELY. Everything about SVT having no weak dancer and is amazing performers and a very hardworking group, also that DK appreciation. Just everything. CRAZY IN LOVE WITH your explanation, really
okay that part about the main vocals being weak links is so fucking true. svt, bts and txt are my main kpop groups(most of the ggs "super melodious soothing voice" people sound so shrill it cant be called a head voice or even falsetto anymore) but i listen to other bgs also and like damn all those fans saying "fully stable allrounder members" are simply bs. very few groups can actually be called alrounders. like bts, jungkook is the main vocal, jimin is lead vocal. but they ARENT weak links at all. none of them are. they are both in fact in the dance line, plus jimin being main dancer with hobi and jungkook being lead dancer. people say the rappers are weak, but they can handle intense choreos and non stop performances for hours when a lot of these groups cant even get their basics right forget being in sync or tune. then svt, NO WEAK DANCER, NO WEAK VOCALIST, NO WEAK RAPPER. each is centre potential, with a level of sync NOBODY not has. its pure teamwork and solid workmanship and literal blood, sweat, tears in this group man. txt still feel fairly new despite nearing 4 years now, but is there a weak vocal or dancer there? nope. even got7 id say. theyre all great. very few can claim all their members are actually being near perfect at everything when it comes to their job, and seventeen is at the top. im so so so happy theyve been growing more recently and getting more recog every cb. DK SHINES. i hope i can attend a svt concert in person one day.
oh, and their energy DOESNT DECREASE. if anything, they get more intriguing and interesting to watch as years go by. they earned their fandom and name and awards purely through their own hard work. they didnt depend on their company's fame to shoot them to a pre existing fanbase like the big3 companies and a few more well known labels. and it feels so frigging proud to be there to witness it all. i feel like a proud mom even tho im younger than their maknae.

For me, why SVT can still pull off bright concept, after doing dark concept that's really depend on their main vocal type of voice, ability, and versatility. Which Seventeen have two powerhouse; DK and Seungkwan. Ohhh, I just respect them so muchh and love DK (of course as DK bias😂)

i'm a new carat and their left and right relay dance is what made me stan them. after watching that video, it made me already DK bias because of how he dance, his expressions and everything. i just know that he has a lot to give. then after watching svt MVs and other videos, I realized how right I am to stan him. If you look at seventeen discography, dk doesn’t only have a lot of main parts but crazy adlibs whether they are planned or the spontaneity one during concerts. But it’s still fascination stable his vocals are after all that tiring choreography and he never sounds of breath and stays energet throughout the entire concert. Really a human vitamin

hi im just getting into svt (and dk was one of the main reasons tbh),, and i am so in awe of literally every member’s skill and hard work!!! i’ve been a kpop fan for a while and never got around to svt (which i deeply regret now. lol) but they’re just so insanely good they’re impossible to ignore however the point of this is that i just want to say u are probably one of the most sensible kpop stans out there. like i can always stand by your commentary-it’s objective enough to be convincing but u also add in your own amazement and emotions towards groups or members. i just appreciate that about all of your videos and wanted to send u some love
DK and Yuju from Gfriend are so similar in this sense that they’re both main vocals, but dance like main dancers, can rap, and can be compared to the literal sun because of their comedy and smiles. They’re really golden members.

his dancing is incredible to me. its not often that the main vocal is just as capable of being a lead dancer as a main ones(like u can rank best to worst dancers among svt, but it all comes down to VERY tiny things, like isolations or expressions or flexibility or strength, because there is NO WEAK DANCER IN SVT). even if he underdances(as a main vocal his voice is his top priority, so as u said its acceptable when dk and sk both underdance, because they make up for it during other parts) his isolations are so good as well as his growing expressions that he automatically places in top6 for whichever era(and all the comparisons ive seen state the same). svt's dance ability is such that the "weakest" dancer is at the same level as any other grp's main dancer, if not higher. that takes practise. dk sometimes takes a while to learn the moves(becoz of his other scheds) but once he learns it he ACES IT ALL. it appears effortless even. i started as a mingyu bias, then a cheol bias, then a josh and wonwoo, but dk wrecked me so hard he's no1 for me now. his vocals are outstanding, hes one of the strongest i have ever heard, in the world. beyond kpop. his singing for kai's musical and for GO!, as well as his other solo projects and vocal unit songs are so amazing too. FLY should be released officially, with the other ideal cut songs. his rapping is strong too, even if its not his job. i enjoy it immensely. his visuals are no joke. he keeps getting better and better every cb. whenever his stylist is specially competent he looks AMAZING(sometimes dislike the outfits but he makes it look amazing regardless, im jealous). his silly or aegyo looks are always fun to see, but when he sings he is so serious he takes my breath away. even for variety, as vernon says he doesnt filter it, so everything is ten times funnier and if its booseoksoon then toh....woah. he is truly amazing and i think he should be appreciated more.
frankly tho, if u are a member of svt, youre an automatic ace. you can NEVER be bad at your job. youre the best of the best, thats why you are a part of svt.

I’m officially a baby carat as of about a month ago now.. I’ve always enjoyed seventeen and I’ve always thought they’re unmatched when it comes to choreography, performing or dance practices.. I have two ult groups who I absolutely love watching dance too but both groups are different because they’re all different with their group dynamic and with their talents as well. But since actually diving deeper into seventeen, watching Going Seventeen DK has caught my attention A LOT.. which was unexpected honestly.. in the best way possible. My fave group just based off of choreography will always be Seventeen. I love my two ult groups and their choreography because it’s unique to them and how they dance but they still don’t have what Seventeen has and I’m very much happy and okay about that. The groups i ult are the best in their way and I wouldn’t change them. I love that Seventeen is unmatchable when it comes to choreography (for me). Also, they’re quickly coming for the third ult group spot... something I never thought would happen is sharing that ult spot with one or more groups but here I am 😂. I love this man and I loved this video.. I even loved the tangents you went on cuz I pretty much agreed with it all. I still don’t know their history from debut and I’ll be getting to that soon but I’ve been behind on a lot of Kpop faves because I was in the hospital for a week after a surprise surgery... so during that week I saved a lot of stuff from everyone but I’m still healing atm and have not caught up yet or gotten back into the groove of Going Seventeen. I’m excited to get back to it tho. One thing I know for sure, I have endless content to watch and I’m happy getting to know Seventeen more! And so far the carats I’ve come across have been the sweetest and very welcoming... which is sadly difficult at times when people find out I’m army (my army bubble is peaceful and my safe space with BTS).. I just want to thank anyone for welcoming me warmly into the fandom, it means a lot more than you think. Idk what to call myself since I’m army, baby deobi, and baby carat 😂!

okay that part about the main vocals being weak links is so fucking true. svt, bts and txt are my main kpop groups(most of the ggs "super melodious soothing voice" people sound so shrill it cant be called a head voice or even falsetto anymore) but i listen to other bgs also and like damn all those fans saying "fully stable allrounder members" are simply bs. very few groups can actually be called alrounders. like bts, jungkook is the main vocal, jimin is lead vocal. but they ARENT weak links at all. none of them are. they are both in fact in the dance line, plus jimin being main dancer with hobi and jungkook being lead dancer. people say the rappers are weak, but they can handle intense choreos and non stop performances for hours when a lot of these groups cant even get their basics right forget being in sync or tune. then svt, NO WEAK DANCER, NO WEAK VOCALIST, NO WEAK RAPPER. each is centre potential, with a level of sync NOBODY not has. its pure teamwork and solid workmanship and literal blood, sweat, tears in this group man. txt still feel fairly new despite nearing 4 years now, but is there a weak vocal or dancer there? nope. even got7 id say. theyre all great. very few can claim all their members are actually being near perfect at everything when it comes to their job, and seventeen is at the top. im so so so happy theyve been growing more recently and getting more recog every cb. DK SHINES. i hope i can attend a svt concert in person one day.
oh, and their energy DOESNT DECREASE. if anything, they get more intriguing and interesting to watch as years go by. they earned their fandom and name and awards purely through their own hard work. they didnt depend on their company's fame to shoot them to a pre existing fanbase like the big3 companies and a few more well known labels. and it feels so frigging proud to be there to witness it all. i feel like a proud mom even tho im younger than their maknae.
