honestly that is a dying trend though turbo cars have a lot of tech to stop turbo lag nowadays so you can't keep talking about them like they don't have almost as good throttle response, variable geometry, twin scroll, sequencial turbos there's a lot of stuff to compensate for that delayed response and it's way easier to get power and affordable tunability out of the engine
@@MrWhitePerson The only problem is the sound and powerband. Turbo engines are far more effective, but not as exciting.

They only know a turbo GT model would not have sold as well.. Too many turbo models as it is.. All the Carreras, plus all the "Turbo" models... Leaving the GT3 models as the ONLY N/A models left.. My, how times have changed.

You could see Henry's smile light up when Andreas just kept talking. He was getting gold from Porsche and a pre-production car. And let him do all the talking. Well done, Henry.
This has been my biggest issue with some other journos on TH-cam. They can’t stop themselves from expressing their excitement towards the interviewee, and would keep interrupting interesting thoughts and ideas.
None of that here of course, incredibly enjoyable watch. Henry is present without having to cut a legend off.

@@OliverWode Henry is now in a class by himself. I would watch 30 minutes of him talking about a Ford Ranger pickup (well, 20 minutes). Chris H is still great but seems slightly less independent and more curmudgeonly. Maybe that's what going to one of the mainstream channels does to you. Still good, but wish he was speaking from his old platform. Yes, I know $$$ is involved but still a shame.

I just love how passionate he is when he talks about his cars. Like a proud father talking about his kids. His passion is what makes the Porsche still special and completely focused on performance. Rather than becoming more of a show car.

Good that they are keeping it naturally aspirated, it could very well be the last generation of naturally aspirated gt3...
Pretty much the last gen of a naturally aspirated anything..

Henry is such a cool interviewer. While he has the knowledge, he doesn't interrupt and try to look too smart. And I'm pretty sure that's the main reason he's always the first one to take an early look at Andreas Preuninger's work. You just feel the connection and mutual respect between the two.

Another thing worth mentioning: this footage seems raw and TRUE. Like two guys that love cars talking about GT3s. Awesome! Way to go, Carfection.
Had a hot lap in a 992S at Laguna Seca last week with a pro driver, I honestly can't imagine going faster than that in a GT3!
That would be all I need for the road!

I'd choose the PDK gearbox, but the fact they still offer the customer the choice of a manual gearbox says a lot about Porsche.

Absolute joyous episode. Very few channels are worth my time these days, but Carfection and Henry are tip-top. Doubt that I'll see one in Western Australia but when I'm back in Blighty and it's safe, I'll keep my eyes peeled. Onward!

Great Job Porsche..definitely the best looking GT3 thus far. Very impressed both interior and exterior. Will need to trade up to this new GEN. The new hood and front bumper is so aggressive looking and sits perfectly with a GT car.
