Sorry maam .. ' I am going to the theatre now ' enna question ill no error thanne annu maam. Meaning - njan eppol theatre ill lekku pokukayannu.. But in the first question which had a dispute, the answer has to be " had gone ".. When I came back, my bike had gone. It means njan ethiyapol ente bike poyirunnu.. ' Poyirunnu ' as in someone kattondu poyi enna meaning. ' When ' , ' before ', ' after ' enna ee key words denotes that one action happened after/ before another action. When there is two past actions, the first action that happened will be in past perfect tense, and second action that happened later will be in simple past.
No need to be sorry dear 🙂 'the' is not there in the question - 'I am going to theatre now' is the statement in the question. appo error ille athil ? @@myselfanupamasabu : Actually I had even forgotten the wording of that question maam by the time I typed that comment. hehe.. If the question is " I am going to theatre now. ", then also the answer is " no error " as it is implied from the question that he was going for a primary purpose ( to watch a movie ). If that wasn't the case, it would have been clearly given in the question like " I am going to ' the ' theatre to meet my cousin / something like that ".. I might be wrong here too. But with my minimum grammatical knowledge, and from whatever little I have learnt so far, the answer will still be " no error ", as we don't use the definite article ' the ' before an object, when the sentence talks about a primary purpose. For eg : 1) He went to market. / He went to market to buy grocery. 2) He went to the market to meet his friend.
@@myselfanupamasabu: Eppol clear ayi maam. 👍☺️ Aa theatre inte question ill ' was taken ' is a more apt answer than ' had taken ' if you go by the contextual meaning of the sentence maam.
