      Thomas Irrelevant, they haven’t moved enough to effect the alignment. Greek astronomers were seeing basically the same constellations then that we see today. The stars are so far away any movement they have is minimal from our perspective.

      @@henzcarltupas328henzcarltu2 i think that story actually has a backwards meaning in the story its meant to be sacrifice but this bird is sacred it cannot be caged kept or contained the quetzal would rather die and kill itself than be in captivity in the story is seems like a quetzal but by my history to try and take anything more than a feather is disrespectful and leads to the punishment from the quetzalcoatl.

      The people who made this would have never know in there whole existence what physics were. They wouldn't have been able to measure the size of the bricks to perfectly reflect the sound in a way that it sounds like a bird. It's like he said, pure luck.

      @@kanaaldieiknietmeergagebru7758they made a calendar using the sky without telescopes and pieces of obsidian to view the sun. I feel like they were smart enough to figure out how to have the echo do that. Also that calendar system is pretty solid. So accurate that back in 2012, people thought the world was going to end because that was the last year the Maya were able to calculate. Mathematics is one of the things they were known for

      Smallpox actually, the indigenous population all overall the continent were killed mostly by smallpox. Any human "colonization" afterwards was just scavengers coming in for an easy meal. History would not be what it is today had smallpox not happened.

    none of them know how to clap well :| tbf though the only reason ik how to clap is because I had to go to so many of my sister's ballet performances as a kid (ngl i had more fun finding the best clapping technique for the loudest clap than actually watching the shows) so I had a lot of practice
