Great review, just one correction. The analog version can't work with *either* xlr or 1/8", the XLR plug HAS to be used for the mic, and the 1/8" inch (or 1/4" with adapter) HAS to be used for the headset speakers. I only bring this up because I was going to order the analog version but cancelled after discovering this because I don't have or want to deal with the XLR interface.
I think this is the best sounding headset mic there is right now. I really consider getting a pair of these, all though i might put on a popfilter of some sort. Background noises is sneaking its way through the mic, and here i am talking about keyboard typing, some mouse clicks and maybe people talking to you in your room while you're in a discord call.
Did you make any EQ edits? I can't tell with these if the audio is a bit 'toothless', or the audio/EQ edits I've made for other headphones (like the Astro A40s) were even more bass heavy and this is what 'good' headphones actually sound like?
