This really just feels like a classic. I'd argue it has similar vibes and sensations to an old school wooden coaster, you know like the super old ones where they dont have that much airtime but are just long and great experiences. Just a barebones but fun roller coaster. This really feels like it belongs in that same group. And theres definitely a space for such rides in the industry, they're great all-rounders that anyone can enjoy.
@deluxedoorman I don't think that old but take something like Zippin pippin, Blue streak, Giant dipper (either one works), or Comet (any of em count). Those old 1930s to 60s woodies.
I liked Surf Coaster Leviathan when I rode it back in 2016, but the line for it was long and I ultimately only rode it once. However, Blue Fall, the huge drop tower they used to have, was a walk-on and I rode that at least 10 times until it hurt my neck.
The views of the water on this coaster look very pretty. A coaster like this just makes wonder even more why we don’t have more coasters here in Nova Scotia.
I can't believe what I am seeing! You said this thing was a walk on, right? This is the longest line I've ever been standing in on a coaster. It was a 3 hour wait and operations were terrible. I guess it must have something to do with the time I was there. It was a week before Golden Week. I guess kids must have gotten their holiday a week prior.
When I ride this I honestly didn’t expect it to be as smooth as it was because I had ridden Fujiyama and that one was not that smooth. It was a good ride though.
Guys, Superman escape from krypton might be in danger, it’s listed as SBNO and has been since the first of January, idk what is happening to it. Also Ka in the outra is a nice warming touch.
Kingda Ka is now the outro. I love it. I never got to ride it because I couldn’t get the time to travel out to SF and ride it before it closed, but man do I regret never asking my family to go on vacation there until they closed it. I HATE that CF never announced it / never gave anyone a heads up at all and the king never got the “farewell ceremony” that it truly deserved. Honestly, I will NEVER forgive either SF and CF if they put in a ride in place of Ka that’s nowhere near as much of a king. Long live the king, kingda Ka ❤
Omg guys I heard on the live stream you went to see Sabrina Carpenter live. As someone from the UK I need to hear you're thoughts on declan mckenna as the support act. What an icon
DisneySea is in Chiba (a short ride east from central Tokyo) while Fuji-Q Highland is located a couple of hours southwest of Tokyo. It's not far but you do NOT want to try to do them both in one day. The lines are very long and there are way too much to do at both parks. If you arrive in Tokyo I would recommend spending a full day at DisneySea and then travel to Mt. Fuji in the evening where you stay on site and get to enter the park an hour prior to regular visitors.
@@Dirkschneider my plan is to stay about 3 hours at fugi Q and then go to Disney sea. I’m going to see if I can get a fast pass for both parks. Also, do you know when most Japanese people get out of school. Thanks you!!
@@coastercult4142 No, I don't know much about that. All I know is that everyone is off during Golden Week in the beginning of May. But seriously, two massive and expensive parks in one day? Remember it takes time entering the parks as well. At DisneySea you have long walking distances within the park. You will have to eat. You will burn a lot of money on entrances and fast passes and you will only have a stressful experience trying to get from one place to another. If you are that tight on time, just do one park. I know Coaster Studios did Sea Paradise and Yomiuriland on the same day but those parks are closer, smaller and less busy and they still had to skip all the aquarium attractions and shows at Sea Paradise to make it.
I grew up spending my summers in Yokohama with my family so I have great nostalgic memories of this coaster. I even have a POV of this ride from 15 years ago 😄 th-cam.com/video/_VbfSlZY9xQ/w-d-xo.html
The second half of Fujiyama is rough but the views and ride experience during the first half makes up for it. That lift hill view of Mt. Fuji must be the prettiest view on any rollercoaster.
Fujiyama is literally in my top ten bucket list coasters, mainly for the views and the awesome looking layout, plus the Fujiyama Tower which gives views of Mt Fuji, the coaster passes the top section, and there’s a massive metal slide that wraps around the tower. I don’t think I care that much if it’s rough because I’ve felt rougher experiences on things I love doing outside of theme parks like forest four-wheeling, but I haven’t ridden enough rough coasters to know what at if actually feels.
I know this isn't even about the ride but I love how Ka is the outro (at least for now) long live the king 👑

I know exactly what you mean. Almost like a scenic railway but with a couple intense looking drawn out helices. Seems like a fun ride

Not mat singing Chapel Roan in the back hahaha
IT'S LIKE A HUNDRED 99 DEGREEEESSSS🗣🗣🗣🗣🗣🗣
I love that you can actually see Sarah grey out on that first helix 😂
Ka as the outro is a lovely touch! Wish I got to ride it but oh well 😭
This layout actually looks so fun and creative.
Yea i love that its not trying to do too much as well
@dandychiki What do you mean by too much? Like you are glad it's not too intense?
Yay here comes the Japan content! ありがとう
I would have loved to sit next to Matt. He is like a cute little baby seal 🥹🦭 so adorable
I'd like to sit on Matt's face. Haha
One of the most beautiful place for a coaster to sit on
YES KINGDA KA IS THE OUTRO

I can feel that Japan heat in this video!

Its a long ride. I thought it will give good airtime going in but yea maybe its about the length and the helixes
This coaster should’ve been called Helix instead of the one at Liseberg 😆
Long live the king
when sara said older than me, i died inside, and realized i'm an old ass hahahah
I've never heard that pun but now I'll keep it.
I like the water aspect
Love you guys. Rip KK ❤
Trust me the airtime later in the day is very awesome
I can't wait for Matt to ride some water rides in Japan!
That view was georgous!
But is it better than wildfire?
we prefer Wildfire's view but this one was very cool
Love a good helix.

Whoa that looks really cool!
What wrist mount do you use?
I’m going to Japan this summer, do you know if Tokyo Disney sea is far away from fugi Q?
2 hours apart on the train. The rail network is incredibly complicated but you won’t get stranded anywhere.
you can also go by highway bus to either park direct from shinjuku (disney sea 1 hour, fuji q 2 hours)

Man I want that helix it had but I want to to be sustained forever.
I'll pass lol 😮😵💫🤯😳🥺. I'll just sit back and enjoy watching you enjoy , like I've always done 😂 . If it's not broken.....don't fix it lol.
Have you guys ridden Bandit?? It looks like one of the best coasters in Japan
We have! We will be posting an on-ride reaction soon :)
this is what helix at liseberg should have been
This is a very interesting coaster!
Grey Out, The Ride.
Helices: The Ride.

He says Togo's in Japan are pretty beautiful..... Clearly he hasn't ridden Fujiyama yet at this point. That thing shook me to death.
I rode Fujiyama 5 years before I experienced Surf Coaster Leviathan. Looks are different than ride experience :)

@@CoasterStudios did you get a good video of Spin Runway at Yomiuri Land? I really loved that ride. I'm going to have to go back early next year.
Please can we start posting Asia content ❤this is torturous ❤
Kingda kA. Viva el Rey ❤❤🎉
Why couldn’t togo make rides like these in america😢
Oops! All Helix.
The lap bars look very bulky
hot togo ❤
This is a dumb question but was Matt the ride operator at Kingda Ka? @coasterstudios
