Honestly, looking back on it, the only similarities between Camp Star and Camp Rock is that they were music camps. Camp Rock was more about teaching kids about music and having fun with it and trying to enjoy their summer, Camp Star was trying to get their kids record deals and dealing out the pressure that comes with that kind of ambition.
