When I was a child, I remember my cousin John told us the blood cheat when we were kids and I think he also told us the other Cheat your first go on the title screen the memories I had I missed the 90s now I’m gonna be 32 and my brother is 29 , the years went by so fast
The best mudic too brings back alot of memories especially the palace gates stage 😢it sucks being an adult this came out when I was in preschool back in 93

You must be talking about the snes version because sega genesis test your might was easy to fill up the bar snes you need a damn turbo controller for that shit
This game truly takes me back. I believe this or sonic the hedgehog 2 was the first video game I’ve ever played. The pit was my favorite level. The background, the music, the intensity, I loved it as a kid
if i could have one version of mk1 again, it's this version. though i now have mk1 on ps3 through the midway arcade collection, it is this version that i feel more attached to.
If you saw mortal kombat 9 you know the ending they never shown in this game was when Shang tsung asked kaun “what if the rules have changed?” Then wait for MK2
ahh MK 1 on the genesis. the only thing I don't like about this version is how do y'all make such fire remixes of the arcade tracks, and then we get stuck with that wack af Goro theme. with the rest of the tracks as an example, I can only imagine how awesome a remix of Goro's theme would've been.
nah... if only for lore reasons it's one of the best ones. dude doesn't kill. and his fatality was meant to show that, his honor, and his restraint in a tournament where anyone else would kill you in their fatality. sucks, people complained and they kept making the fatality have gore in it. defeats the original purpose of it.
When it gets to the screen where the background is gray and the words are slowly forming you press A, B, A, C, A, B, B on your first player controller. Once you do the code if you did it right you'll hear "get over here".
or wait for the options screen and hit down up left left a right down and turn it on ( i hope thats right because its been many many years since i played mk1)
