Along with that lovable song (which I used a lot on the church bus when I worked with that ministry, such a blessing)… I would also recommend Old Church Choir by Zach Williams with the lyrics; “Nothing can steal my joy!” Both songs are easy to come to mind in those moments when the subject of joy is brought up.
The greatest joy we received in spite of our current circumstances and situation is eternal life with our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ that is eternal joy knowing where your eternity is
Great sermon. It really made me stop and think. I’ve been guilty of not recognizing the importance of the moment and totally enjoying time with family. The last part of the sermon with the family pictures hit me like a ton of bricks. I forfeited so much trying to make a living and trying to figure out Gods purpose for my life. I don’t want to do that ever again! Thank you Blessings!!! P.s. I’m 55 and I’m pretty sure I sang that song in Sunday School as a child.

On a scale of 1-10 I’m at 1 to 0. By this weekend I’ve got noplace to live and have to temporarily separate from my ESA kitties after losing my mobile home and previous kitties in a fire 2&1/2 years ago. I don’t know if I can do this again with depression, severe anxiety and PTSD. It’s feeling like it’s just too much to bear
