Pita needs to be baked, only then it’ll taste like pita
The baking gives it a unique earthy taste.
Drizzle some olive oil on hummus and if you like zaatar add that too. Yummm.
Serve it with onions and green chillies.

After adding yeast the dough has to rise double its size, but yours was not that means the yeast lost its ability and other thing I noticed is that you are not supposed to keep the dough in fridge . Make a dough, keep it for an hour in warm place and make a bread.
Also if not wrong you didnot add sugar to yeast mixture to activate it
Also why no paprika added as a garnish ln the hummus? Plus a few white chickpeas along side and loads of olive oil. The pita bread sadly was a 😢 better luck nect time. The fattosh is a non Brainer. The pomegranate molasses is what u need the rest is easy. Ask your friend to get you all this
She actually killed the yeast by adding hot water
Firstly you have to activate yeast. Add sugar to yeast and add hot water and let it activate for 15 mins. Then knead the dough and keep it in warm place in 1-2 hours and make the pita bread. Don’t keep the dough in fridge.
Sugar ko Yeast wale pani main add kerna tha and let it rest for 5 minutes. It doesn’t matter if Yeast is instant or not we should activate Yeast in warm water with food which is Sugar.
Since your decor is peach pink and white then the colour which will best complement the decor is MINT GREEN.. So you should go with mint green color dress..... I would suggest you a SAAREE.... A MINT GREEN SAAREE

For pitta bread water was too hot , it suppose to be warm and cover it for 5 minutes after adding yeast

Dont keep on adding dry maida while kneading it , you have to keep on kneading it even if it is sticky eventually it will become snooth and soft dough

You shouldn't keep the dough in the fridge
For hummus , I think you need to add little more olive oil while grinding and little on top with the dash of red chilli powder

You need to first activate the yeast in Luke warm water (like you did) and sugar .. that’s why your dough didn’t rise enough … and try to bake your pita bread next time .. roll it like you did but place in the oven
Let me share 2 secrets that will make your “hummus making”better
1. After boiling the chickpeas add one spoon of baking soda with water and cook to automatically separate the skin from chickpea
2. Before grinding it to paste add one or two ice cubes to make the hummus light white and airy

Yeast ko sugar ke saath activate karne ke baad namak Wale flour mein dalein, namak se yeast mar jata hai, activation se pehle namak wale flour mein dalne se yeast mar gaya.
You forgot to do yeast proofing. After adding yeast to warm water, add little sugar too and leave it for 10 mins. The yeast mixture will turn frothy and bubbly. Then add it to your flour.
Also it will help dough to double in size in 2 hours
Don't keep dough in fridge.
Water should be Luke warm for yeast

Yeast to activate karte hai fir dalte hai… usko activate karne k liye usme sugar dalni hoti hai… nd the one thing i noticed is the water was too hote u have to take it lukewarm
Dipika, next time pita bread ke liye instant yeast sugar ke sath dalna , salt dusri baju , fir sabko swirl karke atte ko , bich main jaga banake oil and warm milk ya warm milk n water mix dalna ( apka water bahot garam tha) 100 degree jitna rakhna 👌🏻 jitna chahiye utna le le ke moist atta lagana, pehle 15 minute just mix karke cover n keep it aside, after that knead it for 8 mints n let it bloom for 1 n half hours.. 😻 you are always very very honest👌🏻 love your recipes❤

Hii dear for pita bread you have done all 3steps wrong that is
1)if you use instant yeast you directly mix yeast to the raw ingridents no need for warm water step and your water is too hot for the process
2)you have to keep the dough in microwave or any warm place for proofing instead in fridge
3)over kneeding of dough this much kneeding is not needed❤

Maam after rolling the dough into small pita shapes line all of them on a flat surface or board then cover it with moist cloth for some time and then cook it on the pan trust me you will be surprised by the results also roll the dough a tad smaller ❤

Hi, don't put yeast in hot water, in fact instant yeast you don't have to mix separately in water. You can mix all dry ingredients together. And you don't need to wait 2 hours. Regular room temperature water will do. Once you roll the dough just wait for a bit before you cook it, it will puff up and you can get thinner pitas.

Wen u make hummus u can add like a 1 tbsp curd the texture will come creamer and as well taste will be very gud.. and u won't need water to blend it . Try it once with 1 tbsp curd ...

Hi Deepika, for pita bread you did all the process of making dough perfectly fine. But the issue is that you used dough which was kept in refrigerator. For pita bread, make the dough then keep it aside for around 1-2 hours so it can almost double the side of dough. Then knead it again so air can get out. After that cook your pita bread, it will be perfect. Try to use oven if you possible. Love you Ruhaan ❤

Deepikaji while you are kneading the dough, put a wet napkin under the plate on the floor, keep the plate on top of the napkin so you don't need to hold the plate with your other hand and the plate won't move or not make noise when you are kneading the dough, try it.

You should choose sky blue or light bluish bcz it will merge with pink and peach or light purple.
You added more water while kneading the dough also the yeast and sugar should mixed together in water to activate then added in the flour mixture and it has to be kept in warm environment. Hope this helps ☺️
