      To manage investment risk, consider maintaining a broad diversification of your investments that reflects your personal risk tolerance, time horizon, and the nature of your financial goal.

      Remember, diversification is an approach to help manage investment risk. It does not eliminate the risk of loss if security prices decline. Because investing can be complicated, consider working with a financial professional to help guide you on your wealth-building journey.

For many sharing a rental home and investing rest of the money may be better choice initially ! Once married not necessarily people should buy own house if that means additional financial burdens!

    Retire is a misleading word. It should be something like "Reset" and Financial Freedom. In my opinion... Buy a house should be number 1 and ideally should not exceed 40% of your monthly income. Invest 10% in Gold every month. Invest 25% on Health and Other Insurance. 10% on skill upgradation. 15% Save + Invest for future. If you can start at 23 then by the time you reach 30-35 you will be in a decent financial position. Believe it or not, Gold is very easy to buy and sell which means in case of emergencies, you can get some real cash very quickly. Buying and selling Real estate is difficult and involves legal steps. So it is not immediate and easy to sell. But renting is a temporary or stop gap arrangement. Speaking from my experience. Didn't get the guidance from such videos when I was young. But now through experience I can tell, this man is 70-80% correct. Thanks for the video.

    wished someone told me this 13 years ago when I started working..
    I spent all that I earned and have a couple lacs in saving despite earning that much every month! I have a home loan, I have a car loan.. I also have pf which at retirement is expected to give me 5-6 cr..
    not enough but decent when you have an own flat.. I might live in a smaller flat than my friends who saved more but at least I won't be poor..
    but the most important question is how does it matter.. life comes to us once.. youth comes to us once.. why waste that.. I recommend spending as much as you can first 15 years.. get experience, create memories and the stuff .. although I spent a lot but I did it in meaningless stuff but don't miss you live life only once and no point sacrificing youth for old age

    • @souravpal1768
      @souravpal1768 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Spending less doesn't mean wasting life or enjoying youth doesn't mean spending frivolously...with a proper financial discipline, you can lead a beautiful life at any stage of life...and if in the initial few years, you make a bad habit of spending money on unnecessary things; it really becomes very difficult to break this bad habit at later stage...we are just impatient and try to prevent ourselves from thinking about financial freedom by giving those shitty excuses like having 'only one life','enjoying life' blah blah...

    • @cannotthinkofoneatth
      @cannotthinkofoneatth 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@souravpal1768 well it is.. i know people in their youth who spend less time seeing places, meeting people, partying and enjoying the little things of life because they don't want to spend and are too busy saving for retirement.. agree or not, it's a fact..
      it takes discipline of the highest order to strike a balance.. I am not saying it's not possible to do both but theres a thin line
