I just recently failed a scholarship test along with the news of covid. What made it worse was my cousin passed it, I should be happy but darn it, this scholarship was my gateway to my dreams or at least what I wanted to be. This really helped me get through the negativity in my thoughts my big thanks, at the same time sorry for this is all i could give. Currently lost but the dawn will come ain't it :D Love from a fan that loved and watched every video you posted
I'm so sorry to hear that...I feel you. I have had to give up my future goals and plans too due to my vocal health. I won't ever be the singer I wanted to be, or have that career I desperately wanted, and I've had my share of depression and tears over it. But picking up the pieces slowly and moving forwards is the only thing you can do. You may have to change/rebuild inside somewhat...keep an eye out for other things that you could invest yourself in, and that will give you some hope. Hope is everything. Sending some love

I was very sad on your behalf when you first told us that you were experiencing trouble with your voice. I really hope your voice will recover someday, but please, please don't give up on your dream! Your recent Alice songs were very well done. Also, I don't know if you're a fan of hers or not, but just look at Sarah Brightman and what she has achieved over a lifetime with a "weak" voice. I love her music, and I think it's safe to say that while she can still whip out that big classically trained voice, over the course of her long career, her voice has gotten thin and she seems to rely more and more on her quiet, untrained whispery voice in her solo albums. Sometimes you would never know that was the person who sang in Phantom of the Opera. So, I guess I encourage you to still sing however you can. Or what about Leonard Cohen, who sang in monotone, but people love his songs anyway? I really hope you don't give up singing altogether. :( You seem to be a person rich in friends; maybe you can recruit a singer friend to provide the vocals, and focus on the compositions? According to your interviews, you used to want to compose for video games as well. Maybe that can be an outlet? Sorry this is so long. I hope you continue to make music no matter what. ^_^

This music sounds like the clearing up of clouds, revealing blue skies and dew-bespangled verdure after a hard storm. It makes me think of the relief I feel after a spell of depression or a panic attack subsides; I often compare my chronic mood conditions to storms: you can never tell how severe they will be when they arrive (despite what meteorologists do to help the common people), and they are scary in the midst of their duration, but they always give way to better weather and calm again. Erutan's music helped me realize what kind of music I needed to supplement my life, whether I am lonely, nervous, happy, or any other mood. It's been 10 years since I first discovered her cover of "Once Upon a December", and then quickly watched her myriad of lovely cover songs soon after.

So lovely to hear and see some more music from you! This film is beautifully shot, I love the sepia tones of this and the slight graininess. The leaves blowing at 1:59 was such a lovely touch. The arrangement must have taken a lot of time and work and I'm so glad to hear it. What a lovely bouzouki you have - the sound and design is really nice. The kalimba was a really great touch too, really gave this a lovely atmosphere. There is so much that I could say about all the different parts, particularly 4:32! There is so much life in this little section and is incredibly pleasant a performance. Thank you for taking the time to make this beautiful video

This is SO beautiful. My heart goes out to you during your struggles with your voice. I hope it’s a comfort that you’re still such an incredible instrumentalist. I’ve never seen one person so accomplished with so many instruments before. I’d be jealous if I weren’t so busy being impressed. 😂 If the damage you’re dealing with was caused by acid reflux, I truly hope it heals. I was also dealing with this while singing on tour with an early music group, and it nearly drove me insane trying to keep it under control. I lost over ten pounds because of the diet restrictions, and had a few embarrassing performances where it got the best of me. I figured out (for the most part) what changes I had to make, so I have faith that you’ll be able to recover from this too. ♥️♥️
