- In this vlog I share with you how I've been using zoom meetings to practice drawing people (like I do when sitting at a coffee shop). I'm continuing to work through art struggles and I bring you along with me as I work on this weeks art challenge. Whoooohooooo!

This is an amazing idea, sketching like a coffee shop but in Zoom meetings!
YES!!! I love it! It’s good practice too for people that don’t feel confident yet to sketch in public. Zoom is like semi public 😂

Grady my som used to say to me mummy you need to go to the hairdresser the squirrel is back in your hair what he meant was its too bushy not sure the hair dresser understood my description of taming my hair by asking please can you remove the squirrel in my hair, your comment reminded me of those happy days, thank you Chris xx

Sandi thats so funny because I have drawn you in my sketchbook. I love watching you tube or old movies, when I find something that catches my eye I hit pause and will practice in my a5. I get a bit self conscience to do it at a coffee shop people do not like me glancing at them with a pencil in my hand. Or worse they want to come over and see. Anyway just wanted you to know I and probably many others have done you.
I did a bit of zoom doodling! In a work meeting - I also had my four year old on my knee, so it was tricky! But as you say, much easier to stay undetected than when you are drawing people in public :)

I know you get tired of my random comments, but I can't help myself. :) I have this thing about clocks, too, especially buying old clocks at flea markets THAT DON'T WORK! On my last one, I said, if I can't get this one to work, I'm not going to buy another clock at a flea market again! Well, whaddayaknow! It worked! It just had a part where the top needed to be glued down, and it was good as new. I gave it a makeover, and it's beautiful, even if my foot is bruised from catching it yesterday after I tripped over it after taking it down to change the battery and not being able to get it back up without moving the chair away from the wall. Anyway, I am free and clear to buy more clocks. :-D

The only reason why I don't want people to know I'm sketching is because they normally come around and want to see me painting, and that makes me nervous because I know it will take time and I fear they'll get bored or impatient and leave.
But I never got anything but curiosity, interest and smiles. :-)

Omg I love you- funny/ quirky/ inspiring/ inspirational ❤️ I love the idea of theme pages- stealing that 🙂 I’ve been going around my house lately painting/ sketching all my mirrors and the surrounding view as well as the reflection ( it’s Uni coursework) sounds boring but I’ve loved it . I LOVE your hair too- it’s got a life of it’s own and it’s gorgeous- no I haven’t got a girl crush 😄 ok maybe a little, but your so lovely x
