Thank you for this video I’ve been keeping it a secret that I’ve always wanted to live in Vegas LA native born and raised. Ive always been drawn to the beauty of Vegas and always felt so welcomed
living in the bay area and having to move to Vegas to care for family. i was resistant for so long but i’ve been researching neighborhoods and gonna check them out this weekend. looking forward to paying literally half the price in rent and no state taxes. not at all excited about the dry heat most of the year. i’m an ocean baby and love the fog and cozy weather. but the price tag on homes is really swaying me. being able to actually afford a nicer lifestyle- house, car etc.. is outweighing my fear of the heat lol
@@kristinaalexa21i’m realizing there’s a lot of things that take longer there like getting any kind of licenses as a independent contractor. what are your favorite neighborhoods? i’m looking at the entire western side of the city from sky canyon to the very south west, i don’t know the name of that neighborhood. trying to be somewhere as quiet as possible. don’t want to hear the sound of any freeways and wanting to be as close to beautiful mountains. currently living between two freeways and two train tracks and my nervous system just needs serene and quiet in order to exhale lol
@@Glitterslug I posted a video today about a house in Mountain's Edge!!! I think you would like this area as it's just a few mins from the hustle & bustle and no freeways.
🎉perfectly stated! 👌 👏 👍 🙌 yes. many states foster hateful division over voting. people & family members going krazy over politics; is totally insane 😳.
Notice you didn't mention safety or crime. As a younger person maybe it's not as big a deal but as a life long NYer in my 50s, it's something you think about every minute nowadays in the city. You can get robbed in front of your house walking the dog by a gang in a car in the nicest neighborhood with 2M homes. No street is safe in NYC.
I can understand this perspective coming from NY. I would agree with you, it's not something I think about because it doesn't happen often here in Vegas. The most common crime is DUIs.
@ I just drove on the freeways a few days ago - they’re in pristine condition compared to L.A., Seattle, Phoenix, and anywhere in New Mexico 😅 And at least Vegas doesn’t have mounds of trash coating the sidewalks like in L.A.
How about the reality that Vegas is radioactive? There was an nuclear testing facility in Vegas for 40 years and there are still two active dumping grounds for the US federal government within 100 miles of the strip. Cancer rates of people living in Vegas long term is much higher than the rest of the country. Between the contaminated air and water, might be something to consider for anyone moving there. The "cheaper living" of life compared to coastal cities in California, Phoenix, and Texas isn't worth the lower quality of drinking water and increased cancer risk. You will pay for that later.
Right!!! Also pro tip to make friends: get off youtube and go outside! 😂 Seriously there is friendly folks around here. Go to The Arts District on a weekend and just tell everyone you just moved here. Report back after 🤝🏽🤝🏽🤝🏽
12 years now that I moved from LA to Vegas. Covid just gave businesses a reason to overprice everything including homeowners/landlords. Vegas imventory is too low.... stop moving here 😂 It was fun when people workwd in hospitality and other events. Everyone coming wants to be a content creator, *ornstars(OF) and real estate. Crime has increased and more drugs also. No mas....
Yes, and the #1 state is CA 🍒🍓🍎🍉🍑🍊 As I said in the video several times, I am single person household fully self employed. Should I be living in CA, my taxes would be astronomically higher meaning my take home pay would be lower, and you get where I'm going. I appreciate your feedback! 👏🏽
you definitely didn't grow up in California. the housing took a huge dive there. i have thought a few times to move to vegas but then i visit in summer or winter. no thanks. i always joke i'll be homeless in california before i leave. vegas has some great areas, and some huge dumps. roads are horrible. henderson safe? LMAO
I moved to Las Veags from California in 2020 and it is truly the oasis in the desert. Everything you want is within reach.
agreed 🔥
I’m really considering moving to Las Vegas within the next 60 days. I work from home so I’m already employed, happy i found your channel.
That's so awesome! Thank you for watching. Let me know how I can help you in any way.
What is your employment ?
As a fellow Californian who moved to Vegas 10 years ago, stop telling Californians to move to Vegas
Moving to Vegas from Washington state was the best decision we’ve ever made!
At the end life is better when cost is cheaper and affordable
If everything goes to plan, im moving to vegas from washington state the first week of oct!!!!!!
Nice! Welcome👏🏽👏🏽

100 degree weather everyday? I’m cool. You wouldn’t want to leave your house

It's not hot all yr round , mainly from May to Sept, and then you get a nice cool down.
