Abe finding it at the end with a number means that, even if it's a big number, that's it's not infinity. The raptures are waning at that what they did actually mattered. Listening to this song while watching Abe slowly fade away due to the passage of time, and realizing that the lyrics were addressed to her, was absolutely soul crushing...
Being a caregiver for my disabled wife, the epilogue and Abe's portions in the map struck me in my soul. The idea of fighting and hurting every day just to even see the light at the end of the tunnel, much less journey to it broke me. I felt those moment where she almost wanted to give up and cry. The world breaks and picks at you and and you often have to do the same to yourself just to keep caring for who you love most. Abe embodied the sentiment and philosophy behind Kintsugi, despite being damaged and broken from all of her struggles, she is beautiful and strong because of those scars. I don't care how much OT I have to put in, if Grave gets a Kintsugi-themed skin, I will buy it no questions asked!
Seeing the "FAILED TALE: END" got me extremely emotional. Cindy & Abe has gone through so much and it really hurt to see what I already knew what going to happen given Grave's Bond story, but god it hurt a lot more seeing it in action, the two really deserved better. Abe has the indomitable will of a mother to keep struggling towards both herself & her child's happy ending even if she becomes broken. I am weak towards tragedies but seeing the path towards a radiant end at least in sight was something to behold. I've maxed limit broken Cindy & I hope to do the same for Grave, she deserves it (ain't gonna core 7 for both like a whaling lunatic tho, for real wtf SEVEN). This event essentially being my first real introduction to NIKKE is definitely going to leave an impact, similar to how I hold FGO's SERAPH or Yuri's entire character from Limbus. I genuinely can't wait for the Old Tales album to fully release tomorrow, I need throw money at good music! May Cinderella & Grave's beautiful happy ending shine within reach...
@@LonerofGaming I'd say Grave conveys perfectly both sides of a mother and father. Stern, strict, yet always willing to go above and beyond like a father. And caring, later on spoiling, and willing to listen lo their child like a mother. Together? A neverending desire to protect their child no matter what, even if there are days where she wants to give up or cry. Glad I had enough pity pulls for both her and Cinderella. I'm so happy I reunited a parent with her child after nearly a century of neverending fights and struggles. Both deserve to be happy.

Did anyone else go around the map after the hard mode ending scene and listen to grave's struggles in the little flashback areas? It was so heartbreaking seeing what she went through to take care of her daughter and masterpiece, her Goddess of Victory... I'm not to the latest chapters yet but knowing that they reunite once cindy wakes up fills me with hope They both deserve a happy ending after all of the betrayal and hardship, and the Commander will help them all the way

I accidentally stepped on mist , music got louder and vocalized and scene played in every scene , ABE was just awesome , her determination was unmatched , also fuck those researchers from ARK i hope Abe gets vengeance on them
The passage of time was cruel, all it ever did was steal from her, piece by piece. Her mind faltered, her body was battered, her voice slowly faded. Yet, in spite of all of the suffering, nothing could break Abe more than the prospect of losing her Goddess of Victory. The Unbreakable, the Beautiful, the Rapturous Cinderella. Both deserve a heartfelt reunion with the rest of their family. A mother & her daughters finally reunited; such a sight would ignite hope in this contemptible world, and it would bring tears of joy to our eyes. Yet something in the back of my mind tells me that time will only keep taking.
The monitor screen moment it really broke me. its just abe realising her own masterpiece, her daughter, acomplished the impossible, and thanks to it actually gave humanity a sliver of hope, and she its the only witness to the realization of what is basically the greatest human milestone in the rapture/human war and it still is up to this day as the rapture have never fully recovered from the blow. The only witness of cinderella becoming a true goddess of victory, surpassing even the goddess squad themselves.
Man... every single track in this event has been an emotional wave for me. I've cried more playing this than I did in any other game I can remember. The story touched my heart, it truly moved me. Cinderella, Abe, and (almost) all of the Old Tales members... I want them to meet up again in the current time. I want them to have a happy ending. Seeing Cinderella's story in particular play out made me reflect on a lot of things in my life... I hope I can rewrite my story too. There are a lot of things I regret, and things I want to change and still do. Nikke is a truly beautiful game. Thank you for everything, the music set the mood so well.
The amount of shit Cindy and Abe had to endure... was monumentally collosal. None of the past stories in the game come close to being as tragic and upsetting. You just can't help but want to hug them both, Abe especially. Abe went from a blunt and coarse mouthed sister figure of a creator to a full time mother who did everything to keep her daughter safe. Forget about just simply trying to repair her and get her back into working order, she was doing everything she can while taking into consideration what Cinderella likes and thinks.
Signed up to be a scientists that may or may not give humanity a chance of survival against the biggest threat they've ever faced so far. Coming out as the best mom one could only dreamed off in a lifetime and actually giving Humanity a chance of winning against the insurmountable.
This event may have been mainly about Cinderella's tale, but it is also the tale of a mother's struggle. Her dreams, her efforts, her sacrifices... this is too, the Tale of Abe's journey, and her unbreakable soul as well. I wish we could give her a hug
I feel like that is exactly how the story is gonna stretch out later.. This 3 is still alive somehow, and we're gonna find them while exploring the new terrains after being so long sealed away in the ark.
Judging by the Bond story of Cinderella, the personalities of the others could also change. Perhaps the quiet Siren will no longer be “restrained”. In addition, she has a connection with the four beasts.

Go look at the map after hard mode to see the various Grave memories after the hard ending. You see her decline even more with her transition to being more Grave than Abe. From further speech deterioration to sacrificing own parts for Cinderella.
...The original track was already heartbreaking, but this just broke me... I know it is fiction, however the emotions that the story and music made me feel was just too real. When the epilogue changed the event map and when the song got lyrics, I fell in love with it even more! It is rare for a song to touch me this deeply, so I will always treasure this song. A little explain I know oswald done good but still Ark is too corrupted, not even by rapture Topic i pick into consideration -During modernia back to be marion situation, there's choice of freedom to treat her like a precious human resource while what actually happen is just 'resource' part -suspicious power source of Ark (Elegg and Trony debut event) -splendamin (side quest-wise there's possibility of splendamin made from human) -rapture known of Ark's location since long, so what's the point of hole up down there? The passage of time was cruel, all it ever did was steal from her, piece by piece. Her mind faltered, her body was battered, her voice slowly faded. Yet, in spite of all of the suffering, nothing could break Abe more than the prospect of losing her Goddess of Victory. The Unbreakable, the Beautiful, the Rapturous Cinderella. Both deserve a heartfelt reunion with the rest of their family. A mother & her daughters finally reunited; such a sight would ignite hope in this contemptible world, and it would bring tears of joy to our eyes. Yet something in the back of my mind tells me that time will only keep taking.

The monitor screen moment it really broke me. its just abe realising her own masterpiece, her daughter, acomplished the impossible, and thanks to it actually gave humanity a sliver of hope, and she its the only witness to the realization of what is basically the greatest human milestone in the rapture/human war and it still is up to this day as the rapture have never fully recovered from the blow.
The only witness of cinderella becoming a true goddess of victory, surpassing even the goddess squad themselves.
Man... every single track in this event has been an emotional wave for me. I've cried more playing this than I did in any other game I can remember. The story touched my heart, it truly moved me. Cinderella, Abe, and (almost) all of the Old Tales members... I want them to meet up again in the current time. I want them to have a happy ending. Seeing Cinderella's story in particular play out made me reflect on a lot of things in my life... I hope I can rewrite my story too. There are a lot of things I regret, and things I want to change and still do. Nikke is a truly beautiful game. Thank you for everything, the music set the mood so well.

Facts
The amount of shit Cindy and Abe had to endure... was monumentally collosal. None of the past stories in the game come close to being as tragic and upsetting. You just can't help but want to hug them both, Abe especially. Abe went from a blunt and coarse mouthed sister figure of a creator to a full time mother who did everything to keep her daughter safe. Forget about just simply trying to repair her and get her back into working order, she was doing everything she can while taking into consideration what Cinderella likes and thinks.
Signed up to be a scientists that may or may not give humanity a chance of survival against the biggest threat they've ever faced so far. Coming out as the best mom one could only dreamed off in a lifetime and actually giving Humanity a chance of winning against the insurmountable.

Go look at the map after hard mode to see the various Grave memories after the hard ending. You see her decline even more with her transition to being more Grave than Abe. From further speech deterioration to sacrificing own parts for Cinderella.

I know it is fiction, however the emotions that the story and music made me feel was just too real.
And now that their "Failed Tale" has ended, I just hope that Cinderella and Grave can find the rest of their squad members and fulfill their "Happy Ending"... (ㅠㅅㅠ)
