I'm in the process of setting up a comic strip style tribute of all my favorite memories with them. There are so many. Enjoy your loved ones while you can. Definitely! Plan on using some from them and their friends I was lucky enough to meet. Such an amazing generation I learned a lot from, and miss daily. Going to enjoy my grandparents as long as they're around. Still have more to learn and I'd love to teach it to others. Every little bit helps. All it takes is reaching the right one.
Thanks! The idea actually stemmed from them. Reading the Sunday comics together until I could read them on my own. Never knew I'd grow up and turn into Garfield though. 😂

I love the girl who got the ice cake for her birthday, and I love that her mother recognized that her daughter would rather have that than a cake and didn't try to force it on her. That's what good, loving parenting looks like. The girl also gets big bonus points for her Golden Girls t-shirt.

Watching that part where the girl has a sleepover at her Grandpa's house brought tears to my eyes as I used to sleepover at my Grandma's house frequently when my Gramps was placed in a home. She'd cooked breakfast and dinner just like how she used to do when my sister and I were kids. Was so sweet and brought back a whole lot of memories. 🥰
