Also they are giving 15 dlc maps for free, thats the first time thats been done in the series. It would be impossible for them to add split-screen at a point where they showed off gameplay, they would have to completely rework game-mechanics and level design to work with split-screen co-op. Im not sayin no split-screen is a good thing, its just not essential and i dont see it as a flaw to the game in any way, especially when there are so many more options for playing with your friends. So im guessing youre going to review this game mark it off for those two reasons alone and ignore every other pro it has over other halo games. I get that people dont want to like any game released by 343i but jesus at least give it a chance before throwing it out, 343i makes good games. Imo halo 4 had the best story of any other halo game but they focused too much on it and the multiplayer fell short. This time around it seems kind of more balanced, some people are saying it has the best multiplayer seen in a halo game but has a mediocre/good campaign.

+Manuel Coentro I remember Halo 1-3 because of the great story and fun ass maps during the campaign. And then the multiplayer came out with extremely refined maps that are just so iconic. Not even Halo Reach has a multiplayer map that I can remember and think of "oh wow how awesome was playing on that map with just shotguns and swords!" Thinking about it, the most recent multiplayer game that actually gives me nostalgia is Battlefield Bad Company 2. The rest are shit, unrefined nothingness.
Being an old school fan since Halo 1 I really miss the intense and long campaign levels of Halo 1 and 2. I had Halo 2 for about 6 years with no Xbox live and always felt like there was a new or different way to tackle each level. Even today I still love to go back and play various levels. With Halo 4 and now 5, I feel that 343 neglected to take notes on how Bungie developed the campaign and have forgotten that Halo is a game built on it's campaign and complex universe. They also make the campaign as if they try to give players the opportunity to use special weapons more often. I miss only having the option to pick up a fuel rod cannon in 3 or 4 out of 12 levels. Overall, the new campaigns feel too simplistic and like lore is being shoved down your throat left and right. I will admit that I love the multiplayer but personally, Halo has always been about the thrill of discovering and exploring a new world in depth with memorable scenery and epic fights.

PanDracon Yea i get that, i love couch co-op myself. The only problem with that is the game was designed without split-screen in mind, which means there would have been a ton of bugs in trying to add it in. They would have to revamp gameplay and level design around split-screen. They would have to delay the game by quite a bit and i doubt the higher-ups wouldve let them do that because halo has always been xbox'x huge console seller. Not to mention online multiplayer,with some player running the game at 30fps the others running it at 60fps would have an advantage. Like they said, if they could have done it the would have.
+MrGoldenFresh Amen. One of the only reasons Halo was the origin of MLG or was considered a competitive game in general, was it's simplistic balance. Which also made it fun and fair for even casual players. Now... there is bound to be weapons that excel over all others, and weapons that serve no real purpose.

Spoilers below.... I think the story mode was great. I played the first 6 missions on Legendary then got so into it I switched to normal so I could finish faster (because it took me 8 hours to get through those on Legendary, it's no joke in this game). I wasn't expecting any new enemies (except sort of hoping for the return of the Flood, which didn't happen) because everything was established in Halo 4. The Sangheli's led by the Arbiter broke from the Covenent, but some stayed which lead to a civil war. The Didact hailed the return of the Forerunners (and by extension the Prometheans), who had their own agenda. I will admit the final mission came up really quick, but the Warden is definitely a formidable boss. I fought him the first time on Legendary, and let me tell you he is no joke on Legendary. On normal, I wrecked him without even trying. So the final battle is against 5 fucking Wardens. It was a challenge on normal, and the whole time I was thinking "this will be impossible on Legendary". Also, regarding the cliffhanger ending; First it wasn't nearly as bad as Halo 2. You at least had closure to the storyline "Why/how did Cortanna come back? What does she plan to do?" and also "What happened between Locke and Master Chief? Does he catch him?" Those were the 2 main plot points and they hit them. Second, we all should have known it would be a cliffhanger because we know Halo 6 is on the way. I mean really, you expected an entire ending? Yea final mission could have been more running for your life in a Warthog and less boss battle, but it ending as I would have expected. The only thing I don't like in the story mode is the AI. They are absolutely retarded. So many times I would die because their pathfinding can't figure out how to jump up on a rock or something. Or one of them would stand too close to me and I would end up shooting them. Even on normal they are stupid. However, they do make good distractions. On the "Swords of Sanghelios" mission I had 2 of them take a Wraith while I got myself a second Wraith, and I would send them ahead before I triggered the next wave of enemies so when they spawned they would focus fire on the AI and I have easy shots. They also make good weapon mules since they don't use the ammo. Have them grab extra snipers and then you can just have them drop it for a PP/Boltshot when you need it, just be sure to have them stay behind you. Regarding MP, this game is better than Halo 4 in every way. I have a few gripes with some things, but it's still clearly above Halo 4 MP. No starting weapon nonsense in Arena, good maps, lots of modes. I get they wanted a Halo CE feel to the game, but I'd still like to just have BR only starts. Not a fan of the AR in any game, it's just lame spray and pray. Not as bad as the beta, but it's still there. And the pistol is nice, but it feels a bit too good sometimes. I hope they nerf it slightly. All the other weapons are great though. They definitely made improvements from the beta. Light Rifle is really nice. Grenades feel fine, and the new ones are great. Weapon layouts on the maps are better. Sounds are great. Warzone is fun if you are really into BTB and PVE type stuff. It mixes the two well. All we need now is a Slayer Pro (BR start, no radar) and Forge and this game would probably be the best Halo to date.
This is the most on-point review of Halo 5 I have read. It took me approximately 12 hours (3 nights) to finish this game on Legendary co-op with my little brother. The AI were useful as more of a distraction and served more as a strategic advantage. In co-op I often used marked enemies to provide my brother constant awareness of some of the more powerful foes so we can do coordinated attacks. And the final mission with multiple wardens..... it took us a VERY long time to figure out a decent plan that required our outmost full attention. One thing you forgot to mention tho, are the halo 2 like snipers. As soon as you were in their line of sight you were instantly dead, EVEN IF you were standing 3 feet from them. If you saw that jackal you died unless he was distracted. I was satisfied with the campaign, I thought they delivered a great story with ALOT of character development and helps us look at the Halo franchise in a different perspective. I expected the cliffhanger because I saw this game as 343's Halo 2, due to it switching between two characters and immediately following halo 2 anniversary. I can see why 343 mislead the public with their marketing to hide cortana being the center at the entire story. But some people,including myself, got really into #huntthetruth and all the recordings. I did not enjoy realizing I was being misled about the direction of the game. And the multiplayer is great except that I personally miss oddball, king of the hill, and the legendary Grifball.

It's quite easy to do the final boss on legendary, you need to fire a fully charged Incineration Cannon round at him, then unload a full shotgun at him until you have no ammo :b

The assault rifle isn't useless if you use it right, it isn't meant for long-range engagements. It is made for short to mid-range engagements. The reason they give you a pistol with a scope is to balance it out.
What's funny is that those same people who were trashing Destiny over it's lack of story are totally going to this game a pass because it's "Halo". Like they'll be so glad to have a Halo in their hands and not even realize that Destiny's story was twice as long. What makes it even worse is that with how MCC launched and the fact that a year later it was still missing features and people were having issues, 343 really need to hit it out of the park and go above and beyond not just deliver a decent Halo game.

LORD MEAMCRAFT which is what used to define what halo was. Taking away split screen felt like taking away apart of our childhood. It sucks to see it leave for a halo game because split screen for FPS games was perfected by Bungie in the making of halo and made it easier to play FPS shooters with your friends.

Ive spend around 15 hours on the campaign whats great is the level design makes it worthwhile to replay it. That and legendary is both hard and fun as always
Mark my words since people are saying this decent length single-player is "too short", 343 will make a longer one in Halo 6 and then everyone will be like "oh the campaign is too long."
Multiplayer is so great! I love the fact that ranking up gives you absolutely nothing and that you don't have nearly as customization options as Reach! I also LOVE the fact that it takes 20 minutes to find one game and go 50-0 and get placed in Bronze! WooHoo! Can't wait to play their THIRD playlist they will be adding in 3 months!
I bought the collector's edition of Halo 5. I launched it at 11:01 last night and played until 4. then I woke up and played it all day today. I am in love with this game. I found the story to be fun, it reminded me much of Halo 2's story, more of a bridge than a solid story, like LOTR: The Two Towers. I found the playability quite fun, and the fact that there were special weapons littered throughout the missions was also a nice touch. The mechanics of the game were solid, and lots of fun. I especially loved the squad system of the story. At times, I'd find myself having my squad going to the other end of the area and distracting hunters, or vice versa. Multiplayer is fun as well, it's very fluid and fast paced.
As a long time halo lore fan I loved the story. I do wish we got more but I have a feeling spartan ops might come back to close some of those gaps. Either way the MP is not bad. Still think its work the $60.

Actually, I thought it was good, but WAY TOO SHORT. It’s just a buildup to Halo Infinite, like halo 2 was to halo 3. Halo 2 is one of my lesser favorites and so is 5. Still better than 4 tho.

I love the story and the lore... I read all the novels back in the day. I was super hype to hear that Kelly, and Linda were coming back! They were my favorite in the first books.

I think they did good with Halo 5. The lack of splitscreen is sad but over all it seems to be a good game. 1. They brought back the arena style multiplayer and ditched the custom classes 2. I love that there expanding the story from the books instead of *fight the covenant find a forerunner artifact fight the flood blow up a ring* in the first 3 games 3. The co-op definitely looks improved as well as everyone has custom load-outs so you can pick someone more tailored to you 4. Warzone enough said 5.There bringing back Forge world 6. The 2 sided story is awesome is has that whole halo 2 vibe 7. The weapons have been re-balanced making assault weapons actually useful 8. This is a bit smaller but i think it's a really nice feature is that you can see your health and recharge time so you can get the max out of your shields anyone who says 343 doesn't listen to the community is not very attentive

Sweet n Sweaty exactly AR is beast. People who rag on it don't realise it's for closer to medium range, and pistol is for medium to medium-long range. Idiots who use pistol at close range against an AR will lose 9-10 times. Even the pros use it and use it often. Hnoestly im a massive Halo fan. and I played it on normal first so I could truly absorb the story without interruptions or having to repeat certain parts multiple times due to legendary or heroic difficulty. The campaign was short and sweet, but I wanted more after I was finished. SO MUCH MORE IT WAS ADDICTING
Halo 5's story reminds me of how books that are made into films, turn the last book into two films to milk the cow 'till it bleeds. The story that was their was good, but ultimately their should have been more of it. The game is going to have free DLC maps and Warzone weapons though, so maybe a little more of the story will be revealed in one of them, like Spartan Ops in Halo 4.

Its disappointing really, i didnt come into Halo back in CE, i joined during Halo 3, but ive become a big time Halo fan, i prefer the Story of multiplayer and so should everyone. The Story is what made Halo great. The multiplayer is just that, something to be played online in a competitive way. It shouldnt be the major focus of a game, rather its side dish to the full course meal of the Story. But NOOOOOOOOOOOOOO, i honestly think Halo would be much better off not being continued in games now. It just doesnt appeal to me anymore, Reach? I anticipated that game for a long time, mostly cause it gave a refreshing course to Halo, making it seem new. my biggest complaint is the awesome part where cortana comes out cuts off directly after where she brings everything out, i wanted to play more and i was not very happy when i saw the credits begin to roll.
You should've cover tho how there's a lack of customization available only getting to choose visor, helmet, and 1 piece armor, not each individual body part also in Halo 4 they built up forge and made it great and completely chucked everything they made right out the window.
Idk but I reserved a copy and I'm psyched and can't wait, I just got the master chief collection and am half way through combat evolved so I'll play from 1-5 that will take me a good month with school and a job and all so I'm not worried about what feels like a short campaign

I'm really into the Halo game stories and have been worried since they introduced 7 new characters for us to co-op through. I was worried about a massive lack of stakes since they can't really just kill off Player-3 and have them site on their laurels for the rest of the game. I watched the first three missions last week and I find that it all starts very fast. Locke and his team, along with Chief's new gang just materialize for the sake of co-op.
Honestly, MP is fantastic and few games work this good even on release. I thought the campaign offered more or less exactly what I expected: exotic environments and what striked me hardest was how good the map layout and scenery was. You can tell your playing halo when your in single player.
I knew this would happen. multiplayer has ruined halo as far as I'm concerned. 1 halo all about single player and story. Second halo still the same but multiplayer was implemented. 3 to now all the games have concentrated on multiplayer. halo was never about multiplayer. Bungies biggest mistake in my opinion and now we see just what happens when multiplayer gets all the attention and rest of the game is utter shit. 6hr single player campaign ? are you fucking kidding me. When will this multiplayer crap go away. that's why I can't wait for fallout at least Bethesda gets it. The best game are always single player story based either RPG or action....period !!!!

This game was just plain a perfect example of how “more worse” some classic series like FarCry are getting but nowhere compared to how bad Halo “fun” has gotten 1-3 GREAT and even ODST and halo wars was dope, that said 3 was the least but still good...4-5 just is really boring as Hell and side characters are just Zzzzzz
I enjoyed the story but it was REALLY short. It was still a fun experience with 3 other friends. On the other hand, multiplayer is awesome. The req packs are addicting and it's not even a hassle trying to save up for them. Warzone is really fun with a few friends(full team if possible) and arena is just amazing. I haven't got bored of it yet. Multiplayer keeps me playing while the story, disappointingly, did not.
No split screen and microtransactions make this game seem like a major downgrade to previous games.

Goddamn it multiplayer, you've been fucking up franchises for too long now! The gold point in good videogames is the freaking story! Some multiplayer modes are good, but to me they are just sooo repetitive it gets boring pretty soon

+Manuel Coentro I remember Halo 1-3 because of the great story and fun ass maps during the campaign. And then the multiplayer came out with extremely refined maps that are just so iconic. Not even Halo Reach has a multiplayer map that I can remember and think of "oh wow how awesome was playing on that map with just shotguns and swords!" Thinking about it, the most recent multiplayer game that actually gives me nostalgia is Battlefield Bad Company 2. The rest are shit, unrefined nothingness.

Being an old school fan since Halo 1 I really miss the intense and long campaign levels of Halo 1 and 2. I had Halo 2 for about 6 years with no Xbox live and always felt like there was a new or different way to tackle each level. Even today I still love to go back and play various levels. With Halo 4 and now 5, I feel that 343 neglected to take notes on how Bungie developed the campaign and have forgotten that Halo is a game built on it's campaign and complex universe. They also make the campaign as if they try to give players the opportunity to use special weapons more often. I miss only having the option to pick up a fuel rod cannon in 3 or 4 out of 12 levels. Overall, the new campaigns feel too simplistic and like lore is being shoved down your throat left and right. I will admit that I love the multiplayer but personally, Halo has always been about the thrill of discovering and exploring a new world in depth with memorable scenery and epic fights.

PanDracon Yea i get that, i love couch co-op myself. The only problem with that is the game was designed without split-screen in mind, which means there would have been a ton of bugs in trying to add it in. They would have to revamp gameplay and level design around split-screen. They would have to delay the game by quite a bit and i doubt the higher-ups wouldve let them do that because halo has always been xbox'x huge console seller. Not to mention online multiplayer,with some player running the game at 30fps the others running it at 60fps would have an advantage. Like they said, if they could have done it the would have.

Which also made it fun and fair for even casual players. Now... there is bound to be weapons that excel over all others, and weapons that serve no real purpose.

Spoilers below....
I think the story mode was great. I played the first 6 missions on Legendary then got so into it I switched to normal so I could finish faster (because it took me 8 hours to get through those on Legendary, it's no joke in this game). I wasn't expecting any new enemies (except sort of hoping for the return of the Flood, which didn't happen) because everything was established in Halo 4. The Sangheli's led by the Arbiter broke from the Covenent, but some stayed which lead to a civil war. The Didact hailed the return of the Forerunners (and by extension the Prometheans), who had their own agenda. I will admit the final mission came up really quick, but the Warden is definitely a formidable boss. I fought him the first time on Legendary, and let me tell you he is no joke on Legendary. On normal, I wrecked him without even trying. So the final battle is against 5 fucking Wardens. It was a challenge on normal, and the whole time I was thinking "this will be impossible on Legendary".
Also, regarding the cliffhanger ending; First it wasn't nearly as bad as Halo 2. You at least had closure to the storyline "Why/how did Cortanna come back? What does she plan to do?" and also "What happened between Locke and Master Chief? Does he catch him?" Those were the 2 main plot points and they hit them. Second, we all should have known it would be a cliffhanger because we know Halo 6 is on the way. I mean really, you expected an entire ending? Yea final mission could have been more running for your life in a Warthog and less boss battle, but it ending as I would have expected.
The only thing I don't like in the story mode is the AI. They are absolutely retarded. So many times I would die because their pathfinding can't figure out how to jump up on a rock or something. Or one of them would stand too close to me and I would end up shooting them. Even on normal they are stupid. However, they do make good distractions. On the "Swords of Sanghelios" mission I had 2 of them take a Wraith while I got myself a second Wraith, and I would send them ahead before I triggered the next wave of enemies so when they spawned they would focus fire on the AI and I have easy shots. They also make good weapon mules since they don't use the ammo. Have them grab extra snipers and then you can just have them drop it for a PP/Boltshot when you need it, just be sure to have them stay behind you.
Regarding MP, this game is better than Halo 4 in every way. I have a few gripes with some things, but it's still clearly above Halo 4 MP. No starting weapon nonsense in Arena, good maps, lots of modes. I get they wanted a Halo CE feel to the game, but I'd still like to just have BR only starts. Not a fan of the AR in any game, it's just lame spray and pray. Not as bad as the beta, but it's still there. And the pistol is nice, but it feels a bit too good sometimes. I hope they nerf it slightly. All the other weapons are great though. They definitely made improvements from the beta. Light Rifle is really nice. Grenades feel fine, and the new ones are great. Weapon layouts on the maps are better. Sounds are great. Warzone is fun if you are really into BTB and PVE type stuff. It mixes the two well.
All we need now is a Slayer Pro (BR start, no radar) and Forge and this game would probably be the best Halo to date.

This is the most on-point review of Halo 5 I have read. It took me approximately 12 hours (3 nights) to finish this game on Legendary co-op with my little brother. The AI were useful as more of a distraction and served more as a strategic advantage. In co-op I often used marked enemies to provide my brother constant awareness of some of the more powerful foes so we can do coordinated attacks. And the final mission with multiple wardens..... it took us a VERY long time to figure out a decent plan that required our outmost full attention. One thing you forgot to mention tho, are the halo 2 like snipers. As soon as you were in their line of sight you were instantly dead, EVEN IF you were standing 3 feet from them. If you saw that jackal you died unless he was distracted.
I was satisfied with the campaign, I thought they delivered a great story with ALOT of character development and helps us look at the Halo franchise in a different perspective. I expected the cliffhanger because I saw this game as 343's Halo 2, due to it switching between two characters and immediately following halo 2 anniversary.
I can see why 343 mislead the public with their marketing to hide cortana being the center at the entire story. But some people,including myself, got really into #huntthetruth and all the recordings. I did not enjoy realizing I was being misled about the direction of the game.
And the multiplayer is great except that I personally miss oddball, king of the hill, and the legendary Grifball.

The assault rifle isn't useless if you use it right, it isn't meant for long-range engagements. It is made for short to mid-range engagements. The reason they give you a pistol with a scope is to balance it out.
What's funny is that those same people who were trashing Destiny over it's lack of story are totally going to this game a pass because it's "Halo". Like they'll be so glad to have a Halo in their hands and not even realize that Destiny's story was twice as long. What makes it even worse is that with how MCC launched and the fact that a year later it was still missing features and people were having issues, 343 really need to hit it out of the park and go above and beyond not just deliver a decent Halo game.

LORD MEAMCRAFT which is what used to define what halo was. Taking away split screen felt like taking away apart of our childhood. It sucks to see it leave for a halo game because split screen for FPS games was perfected by Bungie in the making of halo and made it easier to play FPS shooters with your friends.
@@1kaiis Whqt defined halo is its story art style and characters and the fun multiplayer maps. Split screen was a bonus feature and halo would have been successfull with or without it.

Multiplayer is so great! I love the fact that ranking up gives you absolutely nothing and that you don't have nearly as customization options as Reach! I also LOVE the fact that it takes 20 minutes to find one game and go 50-0 and get placed in Bronze! WooHoo! Can't wait to play their THIRD playlist they will be adding in 3 months!
I bought the collector's edition of Halo 5. I launched it at 11:01 last night and played until 4. then I woke up and played it all day today. I am in love with this game. I found the story to be fun, it reminded me much of Halo 2's story, more of a bridge than a solid story, like LOTR: The Two Towers. I found the playability quite fun, and the fact that there were special weapons littered throughout the missions was also a nice touch. The mechanics of the game were solid, and lots of fun. I especially loved the squad system of the story. At times, I'd find myself having my squad going to the other end of the area and distracting hunters, or vice versa. Multiplayer is fun as well, it's very fluid and fast paced.
As a long time halo lore fan I loved the story. I do wish we got more but I have a feeling spartan ops might come back to close some of those gaps. Either way the MP is not bad. Still think its work the $60.

Am I the only one who didn't think it was short? Yeah it had an abrupt ending but since I knew I was near the end of the game I saw it coming and was not shocked. Actually I was super hyped for the next installment.

I think they did good with Halo 5. The lack of splitscreen is sad but over all it seems to be a good game.
1. They brought back the arena style multiplayer and ditched the custom classes
2. I love that there expanding the story from the books instead of *fight the covenant find a forerunner artifact fight the flood blow up a ring* in the first 3 games
3. The co-op definitely looks improved as well as everyone has custom load-outs so you can pick someone more tailored to you
4. Warzone enough said

6. The 2 sided story is awesome is has that whole halo 2 vibe
7. The weapons have been re-balanced making assault weapons actually useful
8. This is a bit smaller but i think it's a really nice feature is that you can see your health and recharge time so you can get the max out of your shields

Sweet n Sweaty exactly AR is beast. People who rag on it don't realise it's for closer to medium range, and pistol is for medium to medium-long range. Idiots who use pistol at close range against an AR will lose 9-10 times. Even the pros use it and use it often. It actually shows you're a noob if you state it's a shitty weapon for scrubs, because you're not willing to use what you got to win.

Hnoestly im a massive Halo fan. and I played it on normal first so I could truly absorb the story without interruptions or having to repeat certain parts multiple times due to legendary or heroic difficulty. The campaign was short and sweet, but I wanted more after I was finished. SO MUCH MORE IT WAS ADDICTING
Halo 5's story reminds me of how books that are made into films, turn the last book into two films to milk the cow 'till it bleeds. The story that was their was good, but ultimately their should have been more of it.
The game is going to have free DLC maps and Warzone weapons though, so maybe a little more of the story will be revealed in one of them, like Spartan Ops in Halo 4.
Anyone else notice how games this year are more focused on the multiplayer aspects of games than the actual Story? Its disappointing really, i didnt come into Halo back in CE, i joined during Halo 3, but ive become a big time Halo fan, i prefer the Story of multiplayer and so should everyone. The Story is what made Halo great. The multiplayer is just that, something to be played online in a competitive way. It shouldnt be the major focus of a game, rather its side dish to the full course meal of the Story. But NOOOOOOOOOOOOOO, i honestly think Halo would be much better off not being continued in games now. It just doesnt appeal to me anymore, Reach? I anticipated that game for a long time, mostly cause it gave a refreshing course to Halo, making it seem new. But with Halo 4 not being a game to live up to its predecessors, Halo 5 not living up to its name. It just doesnt seem like Halo should be around anymore.

Yeah...same with the arbiter, the comunity said : "we want the arbiter back", and what did 343 do? They put him on a fucking cutscene and talk about killing him, when the comunity said that we wanted him back, we meant fucking playing as him and using elites.

this is a very excellent review, yes I think the campaign ended to early but its still a good game overall, I'm gonna get the game.
I'm really into the Halo game stories and have been worried since they introduced 7 new characters for us to co-op through. I was worried about a massive lack of stakes since they can't really just kill off Player-3 and have them site on their laurels for the rest of the game.
I watched the first three missions last week and I find that it all starts very fast. Locke and his team, along with Chief's new gang just materialize for the sake of co-op.
my buddy is gonna see if i can go over tomorrow and test it out for him, let's just hope my parents are ok with it.

The campaign is basically filler. *GREAT* cutscenes and voice acting *BUT* it just builds up and then *CUTS OFF*.

Honestly, MP is fantastic and few games work this good even on release. I thought the campaign offered more or less exactly what I expected: exotic environments and what striked me hardest was how good the map layout and scenery was. You can tell your playing halo when your in single player.

I knew this would happen. multiplayer has ruined halo as far as I'm concerned. 1 halo all about single player and story. Second halo still the same but multiplayer was implemented. 3 to now all the games have concentrated on multiplayer. halo was never about multiplayer. Bungies biggest mistake in my opinion and now we see just what happens when multiplayer gets all the attention and rest of the game is utter shit. 6hr single player campaign ? are you fucking kidding me. When will this multiplayer crap go away. that's why I can't wait for fallout at least Bethesda gets it. The best game are always single player story based either RPG or action....period !!!!

"The game was like 6 hours long" Buddy is playing on easy/normal. Honestly play Legendary. Your opinion might change on everything. However I am super bummed that you cant split screen. My bro and i bought this game and got hyped to smash the game on legendary. Until we find out its single player. Really disappointing when we figured it out.
This game was just plain a perfect example of how “more worse” some classic series like FarCry are getting but nowhere compared to how bad Halo “fun” has gotten 1-3 GREAT and even ODST and halo wars was dope, that said 3 was the least but still good...4-5 just is really boring as Hell and side characters are just Zzzzzz

I enjoyed the story but it was REALLY short. It was still a fun experience with 3 other friends. On the other hand, multiplayer is awesome. The req packs are addicting and it's not even a hassle trying to save up for them. Warzone is really fun with a few friends(full team if possible) and arena is just amazing. I haven't got bored of it yet. Multiplayer keeps me playing while the story, disappointingly, did not.
In the launch trailer it said experience the BEGINNING of the hunt.
