You can do it! Start gifting unopened, unexpired products if you're not already doing that, which is what I try to do, especially for relatives and young women that can't afford the items you have! Make decant gifts from your fanciest fragrances. You've got this!
Thanks for this tip! I track my open dates for products and pay attention to the condition to make sure everything is in good condition. I already have a system where I declutter new or lightly used products twice a year to family and friends. I’ve been doing it for years and it works wonders! I also donate brand new items to shelters at that time. These are the products I decided to keep in my collection, but I might declutter more in the spring

Anything in good condition with at least a year of shelf life left gets given away to my family and friends. I’m actually working on finishing the older products in my collection for January :)
Good luck! I understand what you're saying by not wanting to feel like you're restricting yourself by not buying something...But that mindset is part of the problem. You will still have other products on your shelf by rhe end of 2025, you're not gunna be restricted - you'll still have so many options!
Hello! Thanks for your perspective. I am creating content, so I do need to purchase new products regularly to stay up to date. I’m okay with having a large collection, and I already have a system where I gift products to friends and family. My goal isn’t to eliminate my consumption or to finish every single product … it’s to reduce my collection by enjoying what I have and to cut down on bringing new products in.
I like empties, project pans.. so it's not sad to me to use up my products. I give away stuff that I no longer need or want and I finish up what I want
I think it’s doable. I couldn’t do the monthly empties, felt I wasn’t enjoying and it made me not want to use the product/s. I do seasonal project use/finish up so that I’m not overwhelmed. I know it’s pushing it for me to do a no buy so I just committed myself to a low buy and only when I’ve used up enough.
I'm with you the only way I'll fully finish my products is me not buying which is my goal. I still have my eye out for turmeric latte at Lush because it didn't go on sale this year after Xmas. So if it happens to go on sale in 2025 I'm breaking
I like to get crestive when using up products so I will typically grab something I hate and find a way to use it that i find enjoyable. Like i have added body washes I didn't like to my laundry soap and I ended up loving how my clothes smelled. Then it's satisfying to see that thing get used up. Worst comes to worst, if its expired or gone off in any way- then it gets tossed!
Lots of layering 😉 jk That's a great goal. I like seeing how people organize their items. By scent family is a good idea. I'm bad at hydrating, so no more fast-expiring body creams from BBW or VS for me. I just discovered Tree Hut's body butters, and I love that formula!
