An older friend of mine (who just died of dementia) named Wayne Sells was hired to haul equipment on long-bed trailers up and down this road in 1947 (!!), and ran graders, scrapers, tractors, up and down the mountain, every year, in all kinds of weather (had to go up in the early spring to OPEN the road to the summit, and it snows year-round) until he retired in the early 90s.
As a side-note, there's also a foot race, The Ascent, which starts down near Manitou Springs, and goes 13.1 miles (21km) up to the summit which I ran one year. Needless to say, I was in top shape when I ran that. Now, after 17 years in the military, I sometimes have a hard time climbing stairs.
Removing your differential, halfshafts and aero makes a big difference!

With the Wigeon in particular, remove the entire Tailgate - not just the glass. It's a MASSIVE drag on these.

Hello, Have you tried playing infection, but it's this, engine-less cars racing down a hill, and you must try to not get infected?, that' be so cool... I hope.
Neil you can make non abs cars brake better by reducing brake force multiplier to 70% and most of T series trucks dont have front brakes
these down hill races are there best but there should only be respawns back at the beginning and no cuts should be aloud
Would love to see one with engines but no brakes..... or you are only allowed to use the handbrake.....
I think Spealer is mad because Octo and Neil took him out.

Next time have the engine in the chassis, but remove the driveshaft. You have the weight and look. No propulsion.

gotta "love" how you're all ragging on octo for having a ping of 130 to some game probably hosted on the amazon server-farms meanwhile my ping with the guy in the next apartment over on the same wifi is ~200-250 on a good day ranging clear the fuck up to the 400-500 range depending on how much the single available ISP feels like saying fuck you to us today.
and no, I do NOT live in a rural area, I live in a decent sized city 7 minutes walk from a major college campus.
