FLY FISHING IN SOCA - Fly fishing in Soča river Slovenia - FLYFISHING ADVENTURE | FLY FISHING

Last autumn, after the salmon fishing season was over in Lithuania (in fact fly fishing season was over in general, except pike fishing) we headed to the Alps. Amazing country sight in Slovenia, mountains, crystal clear rivers and trout. Finally it's here! No mater that we spent only three days there, we brought some adventure like footage to you! It's a heaven. Can't wait to get there again.

What flyline are u rekomend for this fishing conditions, what are u using?

Depends on flies and tactics you fish. It's always better to have something more delicate for small dries, and we use for it XO lines.

Though it's not so delicate in front, but if you use long leader, the presentation and control can be really long distance.
For streamer it's mostly Vision Vibe85 + polyleader if needed:

And for nymphing it depends on the stile and tactics you like to fish. For me personally it's euro nymphing with a vision Nyphmniac 3# 10' rod:

Nice video, but to be honest, Soca is touristic crap! Fish are mostly stock rainbows, crap...but lanscape is nice.
