Just wanna say, you don't have to react to it, but since your dad is a old school fan, tell him to check a Kendrick Lamar mixtape called C4, shit is hella underrated and unknown, Wayne gave Kendrick a co sign back in 2008 do remix every song off of Tha Carter 3. That's the main reason why Kendrick looks up to Wayne and puts him in his top 5 cause Wayne was the first one to put him on the spot. I think you will enjoy it.
And btw, two ways to understand this song:
first one - the obvious one, Wayne is sending a girl (Lisa in this case) to seduct a upcoming millionare (Kendrick in this case), in the first verse Wayne raps from his point of view and describing the situation before Lisa and Kendrick go to the apartment. In Kendricks verse he is rapping as a character who suffered the robbery, hence why the Lollipop ringtone comes up. And one small connection, Kendrick " shoots " himself, right before Wayne is about to say " If Lisa call you daddy she about to be a bastard ".
second one - When Wayne "left" the game, and went to prison, he left the world Drake Tyga and Nicki, he didn't have to do anything to be on top cause they were " killing " other artists for him. In this case those 3 are Lisa, Kendrick raps as every other rapper metaphorically speaking.
