I just got into doing my own nails, and I can totally relate about this being my creative and artistic outlet. I have been an artist my whole life, but school (currently in dental school 💀) has made it very difficult to find the time or energy to practice art. Doing my nails is a perfect combination of self care and art, and it’s been so much fun being creative again. ❤

Sitting down to do my daughters nails and watch you, Gratz on 3000 🍰🍰💛💛 I used to be a teacher too Grades 1-7 then moved into childcare . I do mine and my now grown girls nails as a hobby😁😁..cant wait till my granddaughters are old enough to want their nails done.I got some Tino Vo inks and did some fantastic marbles but used to much acetone and couldn't get a topcoat to stick..it kept pooling...lesson learnt 😭😭Check him out as he has a great marble technique.

I can really relate on so many levels. I'm 12 years in and still feel bad when my students aren't successful. You can't want it more than them. So don't be so hard on yourself. I have to keep reminding myself of that because I have taught MANY successful students and the difference is in the work they put in. There are times when you do have a kid who IS putting the work and it doesn't translate and it just feels AWFUL. Anyway, hang in there! Working and doing this on the side is hard too because of the amount of work you pour into your kids. The press on business I was starting is on pause as a result. I've been thinking about TH-cam, but I can't even juggle what I have going on now 😅! Good luck, keep going, and congrats on 3K!🍰
Yes, you definitely understand! I keep trying to remind myself that they need to care as well to be successful, but sometimes it's hard. The ones who are struggling but put in the work to make it do make the job worth doing. It's really great seeing those moments when they do get it, and you can tell their proud of themselves. I understand pausing the press on business, I honestly haven't been updating my Etsy for that reason, but I hope whichever you decide to pursue goes well! For Korean brand one coat whites, I love DVOK's Vanta white. Super pigmented. Then if you shop Zillabeau, their brand Gelmonsta has a really nice one coat called Wite!

Oof that DVOK Summer 2 collection is so gorgeous! I reallllly want it. LOL. I noticed SNS is now posting ingredients, which I love, but seeing how they looked in the bottle and then on really did something for me. :D It's like all my fave colors/swatches. The DVOK Once in a Summer 2 collection might be the favorite out of all that I own. It's just so versatile! When is your birthday? Its definitely worth the splurge! Though DVOK is coming out with a new magnetic gel collection that looks absolutely stunning as well. The colors look more vivid. A lot of the time I'm usually just joking when I call myself a dummy. I was filming that haul super late at night and was definitely getting a bit loopy due to lack of sleep 😅 I appreciate the kind words as always though ❤️

Hi Mario! The total for a giveaway is about $100 dollars. I unfortunately don't make a ton as a teacher, so a lot of my extra income goes to funding my hobby, and I'm blessed to have some of the things in my hauls gifted. Otherwise, I definitely couldn't afford doing these hauls. I understand commenting is not something everyone does, and I wish I could see likes and views, but unfortunately TH-cam doesn't let me. Comments are just the only public metric I have to ensure it goes to someone who was supporting before they found out about the giveaway. I'm truly sorry if you felt I didn't appreciate your watching and likes, but I respect your decision to unsub. Hopefully, I can do more open giveaways in the future!

Of course! I love sharing about the different products I try. And AI is a constant battle, especially in school. I think there's so much good that can come from it as long as we work on using it ethically!
@@GetPressedNailsByC it’s getting to be a lot though…it’s every where now. Another off shoot is…I worry that stunning real images will be pale & not be as impressive because of everything AI that’s coming out. 🤔
It is getting bad! For art specifically, I think it should be mandatory that the programs only use art or images that they are given permission to use from the artists themselves (with compensation if that's what they want), and that would help cut down on how often it's used. It also may preserve some styles if artists decide they don't want the AI to be trained on their work. As for it being more impressive, I can definitely see that concern. But I can only hope that technology will help artists grow as well and continue to allow them to show their skills!

Thanks so much for checking out my video 🥰 Oh gosh, there are so many to choose from! Yogurt Nail Kr. is a good syrup starter brand since it's on the cheaper side but nice quality still. I'd highly recommend the Gelato collection or Bunny Chu for a variety of colors or the Blossom Ending for basics. If you want a variety of textures, DVOK has some mixed sets like their Cherry Blossom collection or the Once in a Summer 2 set which are probably my favorites that I own! If you prefer solid creme colors, I don't use them often but I've heard great things about the DGel creme colors. If you're looking for a specific type of gel, let me know and I can make some other recommendations! 😊

I'm crazy about chrome powders these days. I think i might bite the bullet and get the Jello Jello edge clear gel you talked about a couple of review videos ago. Also thanks for the alcohol trick! stupid me would actually put another top coat on. 😑
But that being said, random video idea... would you ever do a chrome powder showdown?? since you own some from Temu, BonnieBee, Blanc Blanc, and NailBayo. would be curious to see a comparison 👀 the colours for BonnieBee are stunning but my weee wallet cant justify a $20 chrome powder. 🥲 I'm struggling to find ones that don't cover the base colour too much.

I'm so glad My videos have been helpful 😊 And yes, a bit of alcohol usually makes the chrome go on if over cured! That way you don't have to add too much bulk. Though you could always file down the top coat too and then put on a fresh layer.
I do want to do some videos dedicated to one type of product soon! I just have to find the time 😅 especially if it involves longevity testing. Chrome comparison is a great idea though! ❤
