    Just because someone doesn't have a BA in public speaking doesn't mean they don't know a hell of a lot more than you. Quit complaining and you might hear a sound... Learning.

    I’m having difficulties manipulating the second wheel on my Sparrows safe. I know the principle of what I need to do, but I always get confused when I need to turn passed the third wheel combo to feel my contact points. I’ve looked at a lot of resources (including the National Locksmith Guide to Manipulation), but it isn’t clear about that specific problem. Do you have any tips?

      Try pooping on top of the safe and smear it into all the holes.

      Yep. And you are then going to re-assemble it so that entry is inconspicuous? In case you missed it, the topic of the talk is "Safecracking without a trace.

    this is real stupid....how you gonna see all that stuff with the safe locked

    • @SianaGearz
      @SianaGearz 8 ปีที่แล้ว +4

      +Gunzmith Dragonkind Have you picked a lock? To do that, you don't need to see what that particular lock looks like on the inside. You just need to know what kind of a lock it is, and then you push the pins, feel the tension, and reconstruct sufficient knowledge of the lock, like shape and length of the locking pins through tactile feedback. Same here, plus listening besides feeling. These are not the kind of skills that can be acquired just by watching an instructional video, it requires practice. Plus you need to do product research to know what you're dealing with.

      I disagree. I think "real stupid" is not understanding that the point of the video. The whole point is to learn how to do this without "seeing all that stuff", but that went over your head because you were too quick to be Mr. Negative TH-cam Comment guy

    Fabulous presentation. While I am not a locksmith I want to understand the lock on my own safe and this help. I have had the cover off and watched the wheels and opened the lock visually in that manner. But it's a very interesting subject and the professional locksmiths that do get in one way or another certainly perform magic. Thank you.
