It's so funny How everytime someone says that Penelope is his friend, Colin looks like he is sick. I love him, I don't want him to suffer, but The parallels with previous Seasons are too good.

I absolutely LOVED how Penelope was FIGHTINGGG for lord debling like she was NOT letting anyone look right past her! And, also, how Colin was clearly getting jealous just shows how he has developing feelings for Penelope. Plus HE was the one dreaming about HER (omg!). It’s just so refreshing to think that in the earlier seasons, Penelope was the one chasing for Colin but now it’s the other way around. Such a great way to set up their story and I cannot wait for part 2 😍🥰

One big difference between the show and the book is that Lady Whistledown is always mocking Penelope or elevating people's opinion of others. As a book fan first, Eloise's line in their scene always irks me. I wish the show had put more of that there so it is more obvious that Penelope doesn't shield herself of all the trash talk that she hears about herself. This is not the first time, that Penelope has put herself in the paper, even before the Marina drama, but some people seem to ignore that fact. The Ton relishes the articles.

Many are speculating that Francesca and Lord Kilmartin are both on the spectrum. Which is why they understand each other and could make a good, comfortable match.
Book reader back again! For this episode:
1). Violet never remarried or found love again in the books, so them adding a suitor for her is a nice and welcomed change.
2). In the book, it’s Daphne who Colin asks about love and when do you know if you love someone. The writers changing it to Violet is for the better because Daphne straight up told him “I don’t know” 💀. At least now, he got some good advice from mama

I like to think Colin already had affection for Pen as more than a friend even before this season. He just didnt know it. Like i often say, C is for Colin but it is also for Clueless.

I don't know if it's because I have an autistic child, but something about Francesca and her interest in music as well as my difficulty in getting a read on her gives me neurodivergent tease. I think I'm just more sensitive to characters like that, so maybe it's just me
