That happens a few times in Gokaiger and they even block some attacks by transforming. Its pretty clear that the transformation sequence explicitly protects them.
I love how you can see their personalities through everything. Especially after morphing/henshin. Marvelous is nonchalant but commanding. Joe is edgy but disciplined (and sneaks in that suave hand move). Luka is nonchalant as well but in the most feminine way possible. Doc/Don is straight up goofy. Ahim is prim and proper with her posture. And Gai is an overboard fanboy who does justice to his precursors.

For example, David Yost at that time still not got over about how he got harassed by the crews back then due to him being gay since no apology is issued. Walter Jones chose to support David and sided with him by not going. Erin Cahill is unable to go because she did not want to break union rules since she is a union actress and Power Rangers productions are non-union.

One of the things I loved about this series is the Body language each Ranger has. Marvelous: Leader and has a cocky stance Joe: gives off a Powerful demeanor Luka: Tomboyish Don: Wacky Ahim: Feminine and Regal
I absolutely love the attitude the Yellow one brings. Always giving this sassy "aren't I cute" pose with just so much personality. Too bad the out-of-suit actors never brought this energy for the character, neither in Sentai nor Power Rangers.
i like the thought that the characters are just that much more energetic when theyre in the suits . with all that power flowing through them and whatnot.
From what I can tell this is actually way better than Megaforce now to think of it. Gokaiger rates as the highest I've seen in Super Sentai. Even though I've never seen it I've seen a few clips of it but now the whole show. But I have heard great things about it.

For one thing, Saban chose to do a compressed adaptation of Gokaiger as Super Megaforce which is the season 2 of Megaforce while season 1 is a compressed adaptation of Goseiger. From what I heard, Saban wanted to skip Goseiger and jump to Gokaiger but Toei told them they can't. Instead, they do compressed adaptation to play catch up with Sentai.
Saban should have hired the guy saying all the team names when they Gokai Changed. That would have been cool to hear him say Miiiiightttyy Morphin! Lol!

Gokaiger had more effort and care for the super sentai franchise than Power rangers super megaforce did with the power rangers franchise
Power Rangers in general don't want to take risks adapting both guardian angels and pirates. It shows that they're a total wuss.

From what I can tell this is actually way better than Megaforce now to think of it. Gokaiger rates as the highest I've seen in Super Sentai. Even though I've never seen it I've seen a few clips of it but now the whole show. But I have heard great things about it.

@@markdemars7648 Of course, it's better than Megaforce. For one thing, Saban chose to do a compressed adaptation of Gokaiger as Super Megaforce which is the season 2 of Megaforce while season 1 is a compressed adaptation of Goseiger. From what I heard, Saban wanted to skip Goseiger and jump to Gokaiger but Toei told them they can't. Instead, they do compressed adaptation to play catch up with Sentai.
