What a beautiful woman with a stunning voice, she looks absolutely like a goddess in that dress...I have watched this and Carrickfergus so many times and it still takes my breath away.
A beautiful rendition by Anne Buckley of a beautiful song. And the accompanying music is exquisite. Honestly, one of the most beautiful songs I have ever heard in my life. Sung by Enya at the end of the endearing 1994 film, “Good King Wenceslas”, starring +Jonathan Brandis as the Prince. A perfect ending to a wonderful movie.
I cannot believe my luck...I've found her here on TH-cam! I have "The Celtic Goddess" CD and God knows it's worn out...but watching her is such an experience. She is extraordinarily lovely and her voice is inextricably entwined with her goddess-like stature. She simply takes you to another strata and is the total package.
Flufle Pufle same here with one plus,i danced with this cast so i met Anne and the song stuck with me,now a mammy of 6 beautiful children,Just retired from dancing,so home schooling
*Good morning, my friends ... !!:))* I dreamt I dwelt in marble halls With vassals and serfs at my side, And of all who assembled within those walls That I was the hope and the pride. I had riches all too great to count And a high ancestral name. But I also dreamt which pleased me most That you loved me still the same, That you loved me You loved me still the same, That you loved me You loved me still the same. I dreamt that suitors sought my hand, That knights upon bended knee And with vows no maidens heart could withstand, They pledged their faith to me. And I dreamt that one of that noble host Came forth my hand to claim. But I also dreamt which charmed me most That you loved me still the same That you loved me You loved me still the same, That you loved me You loved me still the same.

I'm sorry dear but I thought a poem

Don't worry. Sometimes lyrics are poems :)
Of course dear the writer some time is a poet.
@BlackMage21 It's because people were rendered speechless after watching this.....haha
Pales with comparison to Meav Ni Mhaolchatha's version-and is almost on par with Deirdre Shannon's version- but she is very good in and of herself.
