Well, this was an unexpected twist, I wasn't expecting Martin Clunes to be quite so sharp witted. And it made me unexpectedly happy for some reason

Everyone picking on Rob at the same time was very funny and entertaining to watch 😂😂

Could have been worse; could have been hired by Alan Sugar.

Probably the most convincingly-told lie the show's ever had.

I thought it was a lie when he described the cloths he wore and the exact drinks he spilled, how many, what she wore. He knew he was the host but yet didn't know who he was until years later.
The lies are in the details.
      But was good.

My personal favourite is the one with Charlotte Moffat where she convinced everyone that her roommate was a northern Irish presenter 😂😂

I’m going to cast a vote for Claudia Winkleman’s animal identification one

I suspect the working in catering bit was actually true though. Possibly even the Mayflower bit. In worst case even the spilling of red wine and canapes. Just not the firing by Alan Sugar part.

He was actually fired by Donald Trump.

"What was the name of the catering company?"
    "Oh god. Mayflower. Well done".
That part always makes me laugh. It's like Martin is complementing the guy from nearly catching him out, but manages to remember and clutch victory from the jaws of defeat lol.

But.. that, and the instant pride and awkward way that he did it all, was all faked. 😳

Martin was a great guest and a very charisamatic guy, they should invite him again

I believe every word of that story was true, except Alan Sugar wasn't there.
