I feel like I am at a balance honestly. To answer the debate whether Snape was a bad person or whether James was a bad person, my answer to that is: Both James and Snape sucked. James bullied people aswell as Snape bullied people. They both were bad people, James is just more likable because he's Harry's father, a Gryffindor, and said to be very charming. I still love both James and Snape though, and I am fine with that. They both did mean things and good things, yet none of them ever apologized for anything they did so is there really a winning side in this entire debate? No. There isn't. Both sides have errors in their statements and also some very compelling truths. Let's just all settle on the fact that James and Snape sucked but we still love them as characters at the end of the day.
