Keating will no doubt do well in future, but she is still very inexperienced. When she plays out from the back, she often lacks confidence and it can be difficult to watch, not to mention she comes too far out of goal on occasion and leaves herself vulnerable. If it wasn't for this Roebuck drama, Keating would still be quietly serving as back-up goalkeeper at City -- as she should be doing at this stage of her career. She should be nowhere near a No. 1 spot at a club challenging for the title and she has already caused City to drop some of their most important points this season. Like all players, Keating's situation is rather more complicated than the mindless glorifying of her ability suggests.
