Maybe Doug either wants to smell like Uncle Luke or wants Uncle Luke to smell like him? My old therapy dog loved laying on any dirty washing she could find and rolling in it, especially anything that had sweat on it. At the time my partner was an apprentice baker and she would knock over the washing basket to search thru the washing for the t-shirt he wore under his uniform. Then she would roll on the sweaty patches. She also would find his boots and lick anything interesting, like the pastry/dough, off both the top and sole of the boots. Blessings, Dot
