- MMA H.E.A.T.'s Karyn Bryant catches up with UFC middleweight Chael Sonnen and hears what he has to say about getting a rematch with champ Anderson Silva. Chael lost their first outing to a triangle choke, and has been very vocal about "requesting" another chance at the Brazilian. Chael addresses the criticism that he's bullying Silva, lets us know what he does in his down time and also talks about leaving politics. We even get treated to a Destiny's Child serenade.

Sonnen is unique and entertaining like no one else in UFC history has been. If you understood the entertainig moment of modern MMA you have to love these so-called trash talkers. He was the first and best. Silva? As far as I remember Chael whipped his ass like no one else ever did.

They don't call them Performance Enhancing Drugs for no reason.
He may still not be the Champion but he is the most dignified ,charismatic and Well spoken fighter in the World not to Mention he is one of the most talented fighters in MMA and he has a great sense of humor =) a true Gentleman and Warrior indeed.

Joe didn't take the mic away from Chael he walked out of the arena after he called Silva out. Chael challenged him got scared and instantly left the ring. And honestly this question is for anyone who has Chael fought that is better than anyone who Anderson has fought? Anderson's record in the UFC 14-0 Chael's record 6-4 that is an awful record for a title contender honestly.

Hendo and Couture never had a T/E ratio over the allowed threshold let alone over 4 times the limit...Chael did. Hendo and Couture didn't break the rules and blatantly cheat...Chael did. OK here's basically what I have read on google( I can give you sources):
He has some sort of condition(?) which allows him medical clearance for TRT,
but he didn't get clearance from CSAC, and his T-to-E ratio was outside the norm. That's not illegal thats a red flag- am I wrong?

You can still hit triangles from half guard. His wrestling could be the factor but we'll see what his work rate is without the performance enhancers.

He was beat by Forrest and Maia. He would NOT have made it through that schedule. The only thing going for Chael is his style allows him to come forward against Silva. If the rematch happens, it will end with the same result. He isn't going to bridge the gap in his game that is submission defense.

Either way, it was the best of the 3 fox fights. Who do you have winning this weekend? I cannot wait for Diaz and Condit!

@Uncharted3Ownage If you followed the CSAC hearing, you'd know that they reduced his suspension to 6 months because Chael lied at the 1st hearing that Keith Kizer, the executive director of the NSAC, allowed him to use steroids. They held a 2nd hearing where Kizer testified that he, nor anyone in the NSAC, ever gave him permission to use steroids nor did he even file for such an exemption. They then suspended him again, this time indefinitely, for perjury so he was suspended for more than 6 mos.
@floydgroover It's been proven that absolutely no Athletic Commission gave Chael an exemption to undergo TRT. At the first CSAC hearing, Chael said that he used steroids during the Marquardt fight in Nevada and he claimed that Keith Kizer, the executive director of the NSAC, allowed him to use. At the second CSAC hearing, Kizer testified that Chael was never given any exemption from anyone in the NSAC so you're absolutely wrong about Sonnen being allowed to use steroids for any of those fights.
