Hi Ajay: Very nice video of the short flight between Tezu & Imphal. The ATR 72-500 is a turboprop plane used for short haul regional flights. The 72 number refers to its capacity. ATR is a French-Italian joint venture company.

Others are jet engine.
ATR altitude and speed is lesser.
Chennai - tuticorin, some Madurai flights and Salem flights are ATR.

Hi Bro,
During take-off, you said that the wings look kinda different and it's pitched up.
You are looking at the extended flaps.
Flaps are devices which are to generate lift during take-offs and reduce speed during landings. Flaps are fitted in the trailing edge ( back ) of the wing and during takeoffs, it's often extended before lining up on the runway and retracted after reaching a certain speed and altitude.
The pod-like structures under the wing are Flap Track Fairings, some may say it is used to hold fuel, no it is the housing for the Hydraulic Actuators which are responsible for extending and retracting the flaps.
There is another thing called Slats which are fitted in the leading edge ( front ) of the wing.
Flaps and Slats are like brothers and both of them are used to increase the surface area of the wing.
The wing looks kinda different because the wing is above the fuselage so from your angle it looks like the leading edge is pitched up but it's not and it's normal......

Bro normal big planes use turbo fan as engines so lots more power than ATR 72 with turbo propeller engines. But ATR 72 has good fuel economy. Bro do you remember Soorarai Pottru movie
