very much agree! i am amazed they actually made it in 8 eps, and actually managed to do it quite flawlessly. the pacing was just right, not to slow not to hasty, so we are able to enjoy it. the storyline is straightforward and easy to understand but they add weight in the story by making it a lil complicated with the suspense and plot twist. so reallly, great job! FYI, i watched the drama because of this fanmade vid. truly a blessing

After all what happened it ends with both of them having no family anymore glad they choose each other at the end ❤️ I wish to see them more together!

The whole story is just series of unfortunate events, like the tradition, marriage arrangement, jealousy, affairs, family business, misunderstandings, lies, threats, etc. It hurts to see these people, even I feel bad for the antagonists at the end. I'm glad the couple stays strong with their passion for Japanese sweets and they're so much in love to always protect each other. 😭 I don't know how their characters are portrayed in manga, but I love how the Nao's here is strong and brave. Tsubaki is also cold at first but becoming more gentle and loving towards Nao. Such a beautiful couple living up to their names like flowers in spring. 😭

I have never watched a Japanese drama before and I have never seen such a heartwarming story for some reason this touched my heart and soul I’m like literally shedding tears without even knowing anything about this dream but for some reason it’s so heartwarming
Feel pity knowing they cut the ep due to pandemic. This drama seriously masterpiece very recommended. I love how their acting not cringy also their characters very mature. Both want to protect each other but in the end suffering and hurting. They really have unfortunate journey and through a lot to get each other in the arms so that's why I hope to see more sweet moments at the end because I don't feel enough of their chemistry. I WANT MORE OF THEM. I feel like they could extended it more tho since they quite rushing towards the end. 10/10 for chemistry, acting and plot and I love how they brought traditional elements on this drama, very unique and aesthetic. I could see they spent high budget for this drama seeing how aesthetic each scenes are. Definitely one of my favourite drama. Also why both of them soo beautiful like they jump out from anime. Pretty couple 💯 I couldn't say enough how I love this drama soo much. Everything were perfect!
The last part always got me. Tsubaki's mom might did lot of bad things but she always love her son and wants to protect him. I hate her character but the last part always caught me in tears 😭♥️.
I was surprised at how much I liked this drama. Only 8 episodes so you can finish it fast and no dragging of the plot either. The characters were all very well written especially the plot twist at the end about who really murdered his father. 10/10 recommend!

I read the mangas way befor the drama came out. And I got to say, I love this series because of the effort the author put into it. The Japanese sweets are all real and so detailed. The characters too. I love it! I can't wait until they get a happily ever after

Because of this i watch the series...n so love it🎉🎉..Nao & Tsubaki are perfect couple, good loking with pure heart n kindness, dedicated & hard worker Tsubaki so Gentle n wise. Even he got rejection of his grandpa, burden an his shoulder, n slippery mom. The way he handle problem about warabi mochi is so smart n wise. He let Nao finish the experiment n blew jojima's anger away❤ . And at the last competition he protect not only Nao but also Shiori of his mother's dirty way. Because of their faith they can break the cursed n got Happy ending....so proud of this couple❤❤❤❤

Why is everyone like to compare japanese and korean actor/actress? She looks like her/ he looks like him, etc. For me Japanese actor/actress have their own charms. I know korean have many pretty and handsome actor/actress too. So does others countries. IMHO Comparing them one of another are not the polite thing to do. They have their own charms and beauty. It's just my opinion from watching many dramas from many countries. And i like this drama a lot..so does the actress. And the kimono/ yukata everyone wear...are super pretty.
This was legit the best J-Drama I've seen. Usually I find them unbearable with these masochistic, useless crybaby female leads OR in contrast super cold and aloof female leads fighting for a guy who's always like super talented bit treats then bad. This one is so different. One of the best female characters even compared to C-Dramas (Like Ying Luo in Yangzi palace) or in K-Drama. And I usually don't mind no hot scenes but OMG the "hot scenes" here were so sweet and classy and beautiful.. So happy they all got their fair ending and ended up together ❤. Only add on: As no one mentions Seijori? I found her story very beautiful and liked her a lot as a character and get transformation from passive traditional girl to taking agency, to ealizing her wrong and rectify it even when losing face. She's been such a good and humble addition to the main plot and I am happy they gave her a happy ending too.

I really like this drama,Coz even it only has a short episode (1-8) the detail of these drama is really amazing,it's very detailed but the happening was a kind of fast but I like the way they manage it to not leave the audience or the viewers a kind of feeling questionable about what is happening.And when it comes to the pairing of the two main character, it's a HUGE YES!!!!

Watching this feels like i'm watching the drama itself . This videos concluded everything that had happen . Such a plot twist but the drama really has a good storyline

I kind of remember this storyline from a manga, and i pretty it was that one i have i have in mind. And can i just say that the male and female leads in this is super handsome and pretty. Their visuals are really good
Why is everyone like to compare japanese and korean actor/actress? She looks like her/ he looks like him, etc. For me Japanese actor/actress have their own charms. I know korean have many pretty and handsome actor/actress too. So does others countries. IMHO Comparing them one of another are not the polite thing to do. They have their own charms and beauty. It's just my opinion from watching many dramas from many countries. And i like this drama a lot..so does the actress. And the kimono/ yukata everyone wear...are super pretty.

This was legit the best J-Drama I've seen. Usually I find them unbearable with these masochistic, useless crybaby female leads OR in contrast super cold and aloof female leads fighting for a guy who's always like super talented bit treats then bad.
This one is so different. One of the best female characters even compared to C-Dramas (Like Ying Luo in Yangzi palace) or in K-Drama.
And I usually don't mind no hot scenes but OMG the "hot scenes" here were so sweet and classy and beautiful.. So happy they all got their fair ending and ended up together ❤.
Only add on: As no one mentions Seijori? I found her story very beautiful and liked her a lot as a character and get transformation from passive traditional girl to taking agency, to ealizing her wrong and rectify it even when losing face. She's been such a good and humble addition to the main plot and I am happy they gave her a happy ending too.

I really like this drama,Coz even it only has a short episode (1-8) the detail of these drama is really amazing,it's very detailed but the happening was a kind of fast but I like the way they manage it to not leave the audience or the viewers a kind of feeling questionable about what is happening.And when it comes to the pairing of the two main character, it's a HUGE YES!!!!
