Nice tour, bad weather.. 8:06 I was stranded here, adjusting the TPS sensor on my Hummer H1 when I drove from Oslo to Hammerfest. Got it all sorted and it shifted gears again, back on the road 1000km left at 55mph

I loved this episode! Such beautiful scenery and the reindeer and moose sightings were pure madness! I took a DNA heritage test recently and was surprised to learn that I’m actually 10% Swedish and 1% Russian...along with the German, Swiss and Welsh that I already knew about...so now that I know I have Viking blood, maybe I’ll have to make a visit to Sweden...and maybe I’ll pick up a new Volvo V60 Cross Country at the factory in Gothenburg as a souvenir! I’m glad you stopped in Alesund ...I just bought a killer suite of Ekornes leather furniture that is made in Alesund...it’s just the best seating anywhere! Great video- I think I’ll watch it again right now..!
I hope once this trip is finished, that the lid of your roof box gets replaced and the one with all the stickers takes pride of place on your lounge room wall.

What you are doing and experiencing is something most people would dream of doing and it's a shame you don't get the views that idots doing burnouts get but some people are easily amused plus your girlfriend is sharing your experience via what people are giving you by viewing your videos yet is camera shy but enjoy your trip as its wonderful to watch thanks for doing it
A pity we didn’t meet up in Bodo. I could have shown you a couple of magical spots to fly your drone and some Carrera T friendly roads. Tomorrow we set our course for Oslo but we drive through Sweden due to faster roads, less traffic and no tolls.
It'd be a shame if you didn't drive through Romsdalen and Trollstigen on your way to Oslo. Some of the very the very best scenery in Norway and Europe, and the best road in Norway IMO. Take your time, don't hurry past the good bits! ;)
Very interesting video as I've travelled to Trondheim, climbed all those steps in Alesund and driven the Atlantic Ocean road, had better weather and had a nice coffee and pastry at the café. The Great Ocean road was a better drive though 😉

Thomas Sjøen The tire marks were made by a BMW club a day or two before the movie production. The movie team were not happy, and these tire marks ended up in national newspapers. The movie clips needed some post processing, to make the road look good.
Was in Norway this time last year and it was hot, they were worrying as it affects the Glacier and water falls. Luck of the draw but as usual great video, keep it up.
I do have to say that even though this is a car channel, I do wish Drive the World had more videos like this that focused on local scenery (and/or culture) rather than just car content. Especially when it comes to the exotics, since those cars can be found anywhere. This video has been one of my favorites. Great stuff.

Bodø is my birthtown. Lived there for about 16 and a half year before I moved further south to about an hour south of Oslo
