Good point. The Silent Drill Team is part of the ceremonial battalion stationed at Marine Barracks, Washington, DC. All the enlisted Marines shown, judging by their rank are 2-3 years in the Corps and are infantry Marines ... not just ceremonial Marines.
For people comparing who's better, you really cant tell who's better because there are differences. The Norwegian Kings Guard is more fast paced, while the Silent Drill Platoon is more sharp.
I do agree with you! Different styles, routines, techniques, etc. Everything has to devolve into a pissing match and people have to degrade others to make themselves feel better. Which makes no sense because no one was in this demonstration lol.
Not sure where the NKG beats the USMC. Sure NKG performances are very attracting and crowd pleasing to the eyes and ears, but the precision and coordination are soooo bad, and especially at that speed. They should probably slow it down a bit to stay in sync. You can see so many flaws if you watch it closely and at slower speeds. You see members out of sync and other members already having their hands at different position in preparation of the next moves. They reminds me of Army Drill Team but overall its a good performance.
Dude the USMC team are mostly combat veterans who have done this for years...the Norwegian team is made up of conscripts doing exactly 1 year of service. What they are able to accomplish in that time and at that age (these are all 18-19 year olds) is amazing.
Considering that at this stage they have only been training together for a few months, its damn impressive. How long has the marines been together? I would guess alot longer the HMKG

I was in HMKG back in 92 when they did weapon drills with bayonets and all but things have changed I give this round to USMC by far

They are conscripts and I believe this is early in their 1 year service but the USMC are very good love to have you as our allies

@@mamavswild USMC team aint no combat vet they are all moto ass boots. you will know wen u see a car on their chest and they are also around 18-22.
