- Bruce and I set off up a remote valley in cold and rainy conditions in search of big backcountry trout. The water is absolutely gin clear despite poor conditions and we're rewarded with some superb fishing.

There's some stunning country to adventure in New Zealand! I was totally over the rain - turned out it was snowing on the ridge no wonder I was cold ❄️ I would've walked past that rainbow I got had it not been for Bruce's persistence. But then he would've abandoned before his brown if it wasn't for my earlier enthusiasm. Teamwork! 🏞️🔥

Here's an adventure I did with Bruce - as it gets late in the season we find there's not many fish about - but as we know it only takes one to make a trip and so good experiencing it with mates. Enjoy 🏞️⛺🔥💯
