Just listen for the pattern in the song... Don't think too hard about it ... FEEL it in the music... There are dozens of strumming patterns you could use as long as it is the same time signature.
Like, imagine you're drumming a beat with your hands on the table top that keeps tempo with the song... It doesn't have to be intricate... Also, say the strumming pattern out loud to hear the pattern... Like this.. D.. DU...UDU... Now play AM or C while you strum to the sound of your voice repeating that pattern...
I find it's easier to just listen to the rhythm of the song and mimic it. The d-u-d-u-u whatever is hard for my mind to grasp. I just listen and mimic. Also MunsonMusic is way easier to learn. Check him out on TH-cam.
Completely agree with you about strumming patterns, best advice I got was to listen, feel, and enjoy. I mean, I’ve not exactly become a professional level player but I am loving every minute of this experience !
Wow what a breathtakingly beautiful song. Never really listened properly to it till I came to play it here . Thank you 😊

Well Hello There you can use single strums. So one strum per chord. I did that and it sounded fine x

Very cool! I hope to master it. For now, it's a bit complicated for my level.
How about now
That Bm threw me for a loop. It wasn't in the "chords you will use" in the beginning
pentaholic21 It certainly feels like it comes from nowhere since it’s so late in the song!
Woah this helped me a lot and my mom
It worked!
Learning ukulele and enjoy
