I question your judgment on the sport of football. He did everything you could ask of a backup QB with zero first team reps in practice coming early into a tough matchup against a good team going for a playoff spot in their own house. His reads were good, he used the pocket well, his throws were on time and accurate, he got you to 33 points which should have been plenty, and he only made one mistake that hurt us -- the interception. The pass DaVonta dropped that would have won the game was placed right in his hands in stride. That's exactly the kind of performance you want from a backup. He's not the reason they lost. Poor defense in the 4th quarter lost the game. Pickett doesn't play defense. If somebody contains Daniels on 4th and 11, the game's over right there. They had plenty of other chances too. Washington turned the ball over 5 times and our defense still let them score 36 points -- 22 in the 4th quarter alone, when our offense had already done enough to win if the defense just do their job, get pressure on the QB and cover the damn receivers. If they do that, the Eagles win on a final score something like 33-24. The #1 defense in the NFL should never give up 3 TDs in a quarter, but especially not when their starting QB's out and it's their job to shut down the opposing offense and win the game.
@@JamesBrown-dd9xl I agree off of Fort to over from our defense and we came away with four field goals and no touchdowns after the first quarter. He’s absolutely horrible and cannot move the ball.
@ my best friend was sitting here watching the game with me and he’s a diehard Steelers fan and he was telling me how horrible pick it was and I didn’t believe him and then right after that picket throws an interception. He said he’s an up-and-down quarterback and he’s trash he said he only played good in the preseason but once the regular season came, he was horrible and couldn’t finish. My friend said at times he was wanting Rudolph back in the game because Pickett was so bad.

It was an intentional helmet to helmet hit. That is illegal. People aren't saying it should have been a roughing the passer foul, but an unsportsmanlike penalty or unnecessary roughness penalty . Gardener Johnson got an unsportsmanlike penalty just for trash talking, and he got his helmet hit off right in front of the ref! Also there should be a fine against the Commander's player

They were trying to get Justin Fields first, but Steelers snagged him. Not saying he would be any better but can play similar to Jalen.
