That was so cute! I think my friends and I are around your age. Though my mane six group broke up when we got to middle school. I found a completely new group of friends and technically we do have a mane six but you guys in this video really brought meaning to your cosplay and you all seemed like friends and I loved it!!! All of you did amazing and looked amazing too!
The singing was so good too bad there was so much noise and the voice levels didn't match :/ There was some problems with the editing part, the first song in the background was really unclear, like it was recorded from a cellphone or something like that.I think you still did very good job if this was your first video. I hope you keep making videos :) The more of them you make, the better you will get. The costumes and the acting part were good, the only thing you should try to get better in is filming and editing videos (though seeing that this was posted about two years ago, maybe you have already made some progress). You could always ask someone help you with those or try to search from the internet how to edit the sound ect. You could have had also first recorded the song sang in the same place and then lipsync it while filming in different places and combine the audio with the video. Overall, I think this was a good start. And the singing part was really good. You should not pay attention to people saying mean things about how you look ect. Writing a mean comment requires no talent or hard work, making a cosplay video does. Generally, people are just jealous over the fact someone managed to film something and publish it online and some other people actually like it. You have every right to delete those comments and ban those people from your channel. When smart people don't like a video, they just simply don't watch it. Critique and just plainly being rude are two completely different things. As for critique, it usually is about telling "what's already good and what could have be done better and THEN ACTUALLY TELLING HOW IT COULD HAVE BEEN DONE BETTER". So basically, don't listen to the rude comments which are just made to make you feel bad. Listening to how to do things better is actually helpful but "Acting is bad" "This is bad" "You're ugly/fat" are certainly not tips how to make film better (those are pretty much some comments our videos had. While like "Your acting is bad" sounds like critique, it's not. If you don't tell how to do it properly, then you most likely don't even know what you're talking about. Anyways, cosplayers don't get paid for the videos they film so it's not really fair to except them to be professional actors...) We've been doing cosplayvideos for many years and are still learning how to make them better. If we listened to the people hating us, we would've not come this far. Instead, we make new videos whenever we can for those people who have supported us. To me, only those people matter.
