Sweetheart, I’ve been watching you for years. I can name several monumental changes you have made since I’ve been watching. All goals positive. You have decided to home school, start a TH-cam channel, changed your diet, adapted to glasses, started carding and spinning yarn, working while in pain, earning and spending your own money, making the decision to move, starting to knit, driving all over, eat. Now, these are just a few things I recall quickly. You have made resolutions during the year ever since I’ve been watching. There are enough people in just your neighborhood let alone the world that are going to be hard on you. Just be yourself. You will find that your negative thoughts will soon go away. I love you and your channel! Hugs Donate the scrapes!
Hi Jennifer and Family including Critters! Every time no matter the happiness, love, sorrow, pain you make me smile...Jennifer you have become a Dear Friend that I truly cherish...thank you!...Love your journey through Life ...Art...and Love...ps would Love to c your Paintings...sketchbook and Doodles!!! Peace and Love to All!😊💗💖💗
I have always gone to a beauty salon. Where they are licensed but every time I highlight my hair, I keep losing hair losing hair. Now that I'm 63, my hair fell out like crazy. I have half the hair I used to have. I'm 64 now quit, highlighting it just going to let it go Gray. Gracefully. Thank you so much for sharing.
I picked a word for the year based on what I wanted. Not any other reason. Resolutions are not for me. When I decide to do something I just do it . I just want to give myself grace and balance. I feel guilty when I'm still in bed watching cinnamon stitches 😂😂 but this was what I fantasized about for all those years. Raising kids, working 2 or 3 jobs, struggling with chronic illnesses , taking care of ill parents so f*** it. My goal is to be happy or fake it till I make it. Now who's going to get me another cup of coffee? 😂
Hi Jen I’m from Adelaide South Australia I love sitting here with a cup of tea and listening to you of all your life stories it’s like sitting here with a good friend and just talking about anything and everything you should be very proud of yourself with what you are doing with home schooling and every thing else. In your life 💖💖💖
When my daughter was in H.S. I tried to help her with Algebra and her teacher said, "who helped you with your homework"? She said," my mother". She told her not to let me do it, again. She's 48 yrs. old, now. Lol
I enjoy your chatting videos, your stories are interesting. I’m happy for you and Little Man getting through his school work together. I’m sure he’s doing better than he would in the public school. You do what makes you happy for your life and your videos. 🧶💜🙏🏻
Just live Jenn! No pressure. Live, grow, change with life. Take care of Jenn, Little Man, your relationships and develop your life to be what provides the growth you want for this next phase of your life.
I want to respond to some things from your vid: First: I love you, fun & tears I accept and ADMIRE you! Second: hearing your admission about your tutorial was AMAZING…. I forgive you about the yarn etc. I watch your tutorials to learn & be creative but Jen… the fact that you humbled yourself was absolutely AMAZING I believe your admission was utterly selfless….. thank you so much for all the work you do for us!
Hi Jenn, it was wonderful spending this time with you this morning. I don't make New Year resolutions. When I get myself motivated that's when I take on a challenge. I generally don't keep scraps. I use up a skein until I feel I can't or won't use it and then donate it. If you keep everything you get overwhelmed. 🤪 I don't keep yarn bands, I put them in the recycle. I always wondered why they keep them.🤷🏼♀️ I did set one goal for this year regarding crochet, I'm going to try to use only the yarn I have. If it's for an order, I might have to buy it. You're doing a great job with Lucas' home schooling. 👍 Wishing you a beautiful blessed day/night 🙏🏻💖
Great chat today. I didn't understand Algebra in hs but actually learned (as an aide) teaching 6th graders. Another teacher taught several different ways to solve the same equation. Brilliant! Everyone learns differently. Follow what you can do without wearing yourself out. You're a smart cookie and I love to listen daily!! ❤
You should be very proud of you're self from coming so far in the learning new ways for learning to Little Man and fir yourself. Sounds like you have a very interesting schedule ahead. 🎉Great job. 🎉🎉🎉
Oh I think that is cool Jen and I would love to watch your home schooling videos, I think it's an awesome idea. Thank you Jen for all you do, love ya and God Bless and you and your family are always in my prayer's.❤
I learned to read by reading my dad’s USC textbooks on ancient civilizations, German, and philosophy! So I learned geology from our annual subscription to National Geographic my great aunt gave us every Christmas! World history, ecology, space, etc. were really interesting! I had a well rounded education by 6th grade!
Good afternoon Jen 😀 I feel the same way about that flower yarn, I'd just rather weave in the extra ends than have to worry about making it to the end of the color just right, that makes me anxious just thinking about it lol. If it makes you feel better when you couldn't remember what you were talking about when your phone distracted you, I didn't remember either LOL. I so enjoy when you just sit and talk with us!! If you want to document videos about home school, couldn't you set them as private so only you could view them? That would give you a video diary of the home school journey. Just a thought, if it's possible. I know nothing about making videos!! lol. Have a good day sweet friend! Love Hugs and Prayers!
I've read a few of the comments about the homeschool channel and I tend to agree. I think you should do it as a private, personal, vlog style just for your own thoughts. Then, if you find that it might be good out in the wild, release the videos! I just don't want you to put unnecessary pressure on yourself, especially with considering moving and all the things that come with that. Just do what you want to do, Jen. Only you know what's best! 🥰
Good morning Jen!I think that will be a good idea with a home school channel that will be great for a lot of us that love watching you everyday. Have a great day❤
Yes I have a huge wicker laundry basket with scrap balls too.. I have been using them to help me create the squares for the "roseanne show" style blanket...
I enjoyed chatting today. Algebra was a different language for me in school. Now I totally understand it by helping my sons when they were in school. I think a lot of it has to do with the teacher . How they teach 😊
I loved this chat today. I listen to these in the car a lot. I drive a lot. I answer you and talk to you like you’re in the car. Give yourself some grace. You are fabulous and don’t let anyone dull your sparkle and shine. You are a bright star in my sky 💜
Hi Jen🙏❤️. Just be yourself and stop putting so much pressure onto yourself too. Live life in a joyous way and with appreciation too (not that you don’t appreciate life). You and Lucas both have accomplished so much with the Home Schooling. It seems to have been the best things you and him have thought to start. No pressure onto yourself and appreciate life and live it one day at a time too. I learned a quote from another TH-camr and I have been so far living by it and if I may say, it has helped me to realize that a rough situation or a person who annoys me, I will say to myself or even that quote will come to my mind and I do think bout “What if it all works out?” and then I realize that it (the rough situation) does really works out. So, be easy on yourself do what you dream and Aldo what makes you happy too. God bless and love to you and your family too. Sue M. Clearwater, Florida ❤️🙏🥰🌴😘💪🏻🧘🏼♂️👍🏻❌⭕️
If you want to sit at the end of each day and gather your thoughts on homeschooling and then drop it on youtube go for it. But dont pressure yourself. Donate the scraps life is too short to worry about the left over undesirable fluff i believe there is a lady who does bovey creek (spelling ) and uses just scraps a worthy cause. As for access wearables you have an etsy sell them i have no doubt the wait list would be long your makes are for the larger of us and beautiful. Yes your "stuff" is sellable and desirable just go for it. The one thing i have always said is go for it or you may one day regret it. Continue being the positive person you are and ignore the negative nelly's you are flying and since homeschooling you seem less heavy hearted because Lucas is thriving and loving it. Very well done and my best wishes for getting the move you need ❤
I count my labels to see my progress. Nothing else. Goals for each individual should not be discounted just because it is not your goal. I love your channel. I have learned a lot from you. I don't always publicize my yearly yarn count but do save my labels as it makes me feel better knowing I am productive, not just storing up yarn.
LOL - I decided to go on a yarn diet starting the new year, and now, 10 days later I have made 3 yarn orders. I am out of room - I really need to cut back new purchases until I use some. So I am going to cut back, but not restrict myself to no new yarn. I enjoyed hearing you talking about the homeschool stuff - i could see the joy you are experiencing. And I don't have kids. If you want to do a home school channel do it. If you want to do an episode every now and then and pist here, do that. Whatever brings you joy and doesn't hurt anyone else, DO IT! Including donating your yarn scraps/ookie to you yarn.
Hi Jennifer I have a true fun fact about Dr. King when my grandfather was alive he was a police officer in Atlanta Georgia an when Dr. King came to Atlanta to do his speech my grandfather was one of the police officer that protected Dr. King while he did his speech in Atlanta Georgia
When I, and I think a lot of yarn crafters see, are the projects we’ve made or how many skeins we used. We don’t think about how many yards of yarn that have been pulled through or around our fingers. The first year that I saved the labels, I think I used upwards of two thousand plus yards of yarn. I was shocked that I used so much yarn. How many miles of yarn do each of us use each year? I just find it interesting to keep my labels and count them up at the end of the year. There is no other reason why I Do that. I am here for you! Whatever you want to talk about, I am here for it. I think you homeschooling Lucas is wonderful. Not everyone learns in the school environment. I have a relative with a child who can’t stay half the day at school. He or she is in high school. My relative can’t homeschool, they don’t have the ability to. They are using tutors and other family members, but he or she is having a hard time.
I didn't make a new year's resolution this year, so what I am doing is working thru my stash. For this stash busting project I'm using what's in my stash first and foremost and only buy yarn for specific projects on my hook before buying to build up my stash
I think it would be great to have a blog about homeschooling. Maybe once every couple of weeks. I think we all have the same thing with the extra yarn.
Hi Jen! I definitely am “de-resoluting” this year lol 😂 that made me giggle! 🤭 I collect my yarn labels for the year so that I have a physical representation of my hard work in my craft for the year. It makes me proud to see how much yarn I do use and it justifies in my head why I continue to buy (when I really don’t need to) slightly! I’m not in competition with anyone it is purely for my own enjoyment, pride and sense of accomplishment because I am a nerd who likes figures, statistics and spreadsheets lol 😂 but those are my reasons - others do in fact use it as a gloating/competition thing - so not me! Love hanging with you and I would watch your homeschool channel even though I don’t homeschool as it would be interesting to me ❤💖🦩🌈
I think make a homeschool channel is a great idea. Don;t think about it to much. Just start it and see where it goes. Hopefully will end up as a great tool for other homeschool teachers. another cool thing is the Freedom trail foot tour in Boston. I would wait until warmer weather.
When I'm done with something I'm done. Most of my scraps get donated. If I don't like a yarn, I donate it. If I don't get joy, out it goes. Someone else will love it .
Oh Jennifer, I just love your guilt & confection you crack me up 😂😂. I'm here at 6 am giggling with you. You're such a blessing and a cheerful person. Love you, my dear friend. ❤ 2025 is the year to be positive and stress free. If it's not making you happy, don't do it. That's what I'm going on this year cuz 2024 was a very exhausting year. God bless you and here is to a positive and happy 2025 year.
Good Morning. I've only been watching you for roughly 6-8 months and within a few videos I made a comment that if I lived next door to Jen we would be best buds which I thought was weird cause we have never met face to face its only a video i'm watching but after watching this one I know we would be best buds because your brain, your thoughts and everything is just like mine. Our thoughts are enter twined indeed. Every day is a new day do the best we can on that day and don't beat yourself up over anything your a great person, friend, Aunt , mom and wife.
I live in Minnesota, and the later we get snow. The shorter the winter, that's the way I see it. We just got snow tonight. Thank you for sharing but it is very cold here. Freezing. Nothing closes here. That's for sure, not unless there's a blizzard.
I couldn't have taught my kids. You are a star ⭐ in my world for trying.i watched a neighbor home her kids, five of them all at different grades. She also used the homeschool co-op in the area.
Jen, so many things you talk about, I can relate to! I may be a 64 year old mom of 6, Grammy to 6 ( almost 7) living in Idaho, but....girl, I soooo understand where you are coming from! The pressure of a new year, ( or a Monday) the whole algebra thing (it was like it was in Spanish and I only speak English) neighbor issues, guilt issues, all of it. I enjoy your channel & YOU soooo much. I watch you first thing every morning. Thanks for all you do ❤
I like listening about what you and Lucas are learning. I have forgotten at least half of what I was taught lol. You had me in stitches when you said that you took a Psychology class just for fun, because when I went back to college in my 40's to get an Associate's degree in Accounting, I had to take some classes that were for fun and didn't know what to choose. So I choose Psychology and it was a blast! I am with you about New Year resolutions. The only one I am going for is to get out more. Everything else that I desire (like losing weight) will happen when it happens. I kind of would like to go back to college but it is waaaay too expensive these days, which makes me sad. You are so silly and I love it, you have started so many changes in your life and stuck with them. It has been a rough year and I am so proud of you because you are still you. All that stuff did not make you a bitter person or a mean person, you are just as loving and giving as you have always been. Much love my girl. See you tomorrow!
Hi Jen, love the chat videos. I agree, we can put ourselves under so much pressure. We should be able to allow ourselves work with the yarns we love and enjoy, donate the ones we dont prefer and move on. 🥳 Intentions are a great way to progress and make changes when we want to, resolutions can be a huge burden! Have a great day 💛
You have a gift for words, by all means, do your home schooling vlog. I enjoy your talk videos like this one. I too read, watch YT videos, documentaries etc. just for the pleasure of learning. I think that is a characteristic of us girls who are in the spectrum, some of us have a specific “thing” some of us like to learn as much as we can about one subject, and go to the next, our interests are very diverse. I hated algebra in school, just didn’t get it, but I loved geometry. You my dear are so, so smart! I re watched an old video today on the relationship between high IQ and autism and I believe in this 100%.
oh i love that PINK! i don't like Red Heart ever, i find it irritating to feel as i work with it as well although it doesn't actually affect my skin as in your case, but i really like that !
100% agree. Do what you can and no pressure. It’s okay. I make Ami’s for the joy of it. Because I am retired people say I should make it a business. 😂😂😂 it would not be a hobby that I enjoy if I did that. Hate to do same patterns. I make one of a certain pattern then move on. If make does not work out I dump it. No worries.
Good Morning Jen🤗. That was an interesting video this morning. I think you’re going an awesome job homeschooling. Keep working I’m on the Anniversary Cake blanket it’s gorgeous 🤗. Have a good day 🥰❤️
Oh Cinnamon, you are wonderful. I hate NY resolutions because 365 days are enough, now I have to plan them? No ma'am 😂. My knitting and crochet are for me, I don't like the I've used all this yarn videos as I don't craft as fast and feel less than. You are my spirit animal because you don't push spincycle or knitting for olive, you are you, I love you ❤❤
We have been snowed in all week and we are suppose to get another 3-5 inches tonight. I no longer have snow days because my kids are all adults but I’m disabled and I’m not stepping one foot out there with ice. I do miss playing in the snow❤
Oh man. My son is 15 and now wants to do homeschooling. It's rough ground to even know where to begin. Wud love to see your ways and means. It's crazy. I did a bachelors degree for my nursing but lots has happened since then. I'm alot older with an MS brain, goodness, help! 😅
I am a big history buff. There is a podcast called "American History Tellers" that I listen to. They tell stories from the perspectives of the not-main characters. Maybe you should check it out and use it for some of the historic events you are wanting to cover.
I think you would make a great homeschool teacher. I also think you should do it even if it's just for you and Lucas it's all for you. You can make it private or you can share it. You know these rules your TH-camr lol luv you Jen I really do and I'm really really really impressed With everything you do.
Look for Who was/what was/who is/what is series books. Very digestible amounts of info. Easy reads, historical people/current people/locations/events. 10/10 recommend.
Morning Jen, looking at your green chair project; it kinda looks like a Bavarian stitch? Hopefully you are doing well and take care of yourself ❤️ sending love and positive vibes your way
Sunday is actually my least favorite day for the majority of the year. I never seem to be able to enjoy the last day “off” before the week begins, with everything that needs to be done, the exhaustion that is coming, etc etc 😅. The only time I don’t dislike Sundays is Christmas Break and Summer Break from school!
Good morning Jen, I never understood why people made NY resolutions. I have never made them. I didn’t even know people did that until I became an adult. I think it makes life stressful and life is stressful enough sometimes so why add to it. I have never been one who stresses because the way I see it is stress won’t change anything so why do it. My cousin has always stressed out over things and I’ve told her stress doesn’t make it better so why do it. She started going grey when we were in our early thirties. I’m 57 and I barely have any grey hair, you have to hunt for it to see the grey hairs… anyways I agree just get up and do what you can that day, what you don’t get done can be done tomorrow. As for homeschool vlogging make the videos private so you have like a diary that you can look back on. Or make them public. I think you should at the very least do them for yourself so you can look back at them and if you choose to share one share it, doesn’t mean you have to share them all or any of them. Well I hope you are having a great day and you’re stay nice and warm. Hugs 🤗
Hey Jen. Really enjoyed this video. I was rotten in algebra too. Didn’t get it cause I had a teacher who didn’t care and if you didn’t get it the first time you just didn’t get it. He was horrible.
Kudos to you introducing me to gluten sensitivity! I had been diagnosed with fibromyalgia, rheumatoid arthritis, osteoarthritis, type 2 diabetes etc. sound familiar? Yeah, never been brought up in the past that gluten could be connected. So this perennial student/researcher got to digging into medical research. I cut back on gluten and guess what. Those fibrous tissues attacking and restricting movement in my body have shown little improvement so I restricted gluten in a serious manner and within 4 days my morning fasting radically dropped and movement started to improve!! After less than a month? Serious drop in morning fasting numbers too! Thank you!! Keeping it up until I see my doctors next and we shall see what the numbers say!
Cinnamon, I count labels for stash control. When I shop for yarn, I try to buy only the numbers of skeins that I have used. I think a home schooling channel would be interesting.

I personally like hearing you talk about the schooling. I would listen
Good morning Jen! I love the chat videos. I listen to you every morning.

Definitely make the home school videos if you want to. I will be subscribing to it. I like crocheting while watching your videos.
I would definitely watch it. My kids are grown and out of the house, but I love listening to your stories.
Jennifer you keep doing you and being who you are! I love how real you are.
Hi Jen . Had a good time visiting with you today. I’m so proud of you and Lucas for how far you have gotten. You are a terrific mom. Love 💜

WooHoo You Go Girl 🎉❤. Loved spending time with you this morning while I had my coffee ☕️. Thank you Jenn I love you more than you will ever know. 💕
Love your logic, it’s so true. Just enjoy everyday everyone & everything 😊

I like your inner examinations and adjustments.

Thank you for sharing. 😊
I enjoyed the talk this morning. You got me ready to go see neurosurgeon this morning. Thanks for the talk. Hope you’re having a great day.❤
Good luck with your appointment

those are pretty greens in that creation

Those yarn sales kill me!
Thats really cool
@@CinnamonStitches thank you I think so too
When I, and I think a lot of yarn crafters see, are the projects we’ve made or how many skeins we used.
Also, as a business/accounting major I had to take math of finance, which is trigonometry! I discovered I can do anything with a $ in front of it.
Jenn. You are awesome!
Love hanging with you and I would watch your homeschool channel even though I don’t homeschool as it would be interesting to me ❤💖🦩🌈
Good morning Jen. Hope you have a good day!
Good morning
Good Morning Jen❤
Good morning
I think make a homeschool channel is a great idea. Don;t think about it to much. Just start it and see where it goes. Hopefully will end up as a great tool for other homeschool teachers.
another cool thing is the Freedom trail foot tour in Boston. I would wait until warmer weather.
Good morning ☀️
Good morning!
Im glad you are here Bestie!!
Good Morning!!!!!!
Morning!
No worries.
I think birthdays are a better reset day.
Be yourself, no pressure
Stay safe this weekend Jen God bless😊
Good Morning Jen🤗. That was an interesting video this morning. I think you’re going an awesome job homeschooling. Keep working I’m on the Anniversary Cake blanket it’s gorgeous 🤗. Have a good day 🥰❤️
I think a video of your home schooling would be awesome.
Hi, I enjoyed this video and was chatting back at you. I like your idea of making the flower motifs using yarn you enjoy. 😉🧶🫂
Love your channel!!
Thank you so much!
I enjoy your chat video today 😊 I hope you have a great day today
Morning 😊😊😊❤❤❤❤❤❤
Morning!
I start over tomorrow
❤❤❤love you girly ❤❤❤
💜💜💜
I enjoy these chats x
The flower 🌺 yarn is fun would make a cute bag 🛍️
I think you would make a great homeschool teacher. I also think you should do it even if it's just for you and Lucas it's all for you. You can make it private or you can share it. You know these rules your TH-camr lol luv you Jen I really do and I'm really really really impressed With everything you do.
Aw thank you, that is so sweet of you to say!
I love Hair Buda. He is grest!
Does anyone else sit and watch the video and talk back to Jennifer? I'm just over here having a full conversation with her and she has no idea. LOL
Yes I do that all the time 🤣
Good morning Jen, I never understood why people made NY resolutions.
Thats fantastic!
Cinnamon, I count labels for stash control. When I shop for yarn, I try to buy only the numbers of skeins that I have used. I think a home schooling channel would be interesting.
Thats a valid reason
