I need to check the tile for my kitchen and new bathroom. Can you recommend the tile stores I can visit, I live in the Los Angeles Redondo Beach area. And I want to use the same tile on the kitchen , bathroom, and my fireplace, do you think is that ok? The color for my kitchen is kind of white and a little bit oak. What color do you recommend for the tile then? Thanks a lot, I really enjoy watching your videos. Thanks a lot.
I suggest checking out The Tile Bar. They offer sample shipping and are easy to work with on tile. And yes, you can totally use the same tile. Think about changing up a color or shape in some areas but I just visited a very high end home the other day and loved how the same tile was used throughout but in different color concepts. So it seemed like a sense of cohesiveness but added interest in the different rooms. I can’t really speak to colors a lot in this platform without seeing images and it goes back to personal preference and suggest ordering samples of different colors. Hope this helps and thank you for watching!
I was hoping for useful suggestions for a new kitchen backsplash. I edited this to add that the ideas here were visually stunning but impractical I can't imagine anything worse than textured tile in the kitchen if you actually use the space for cooking. I don't want to try to scrub grime out of every nook and cranny on my backsplash! Sorry, but most of these trends were a hard NO for me.
edited to add that many of the ideas were visually stunning, just completely impractical. I think the marble printed tile will look stunning in your shower project!
I hope everyone is enjoying this video. Let me know if you have any questions. Happy July 4th!!
