I have been looking for a few days for a recipe box tutorial and found your tut. Love the way it's made. I'm so glad I found this; Thank you for sharing this tutorial.

Beautifully done! Thanks for the tut. Now I know how I'll make my desktop organizer from scratch instead of using premade boxes of predetermined shizes and shapes. No tacking shoebox top to work within. I certainly have enough chipboard for it. TFS!

This was great! You took an confusing subject and turned it into something that was streamlined and EASY to do without having to get die cuts or even scoring! The video didn't mention lids, but your presentation was clear enough that I can just follow the same instructions in the creation of the lid. Wow! Thanks! Jackie

Wow! I found this video less intimidating than others I have viewed about making a box from chipboard and card stock! I am horrible when it comes to measurements, math and finding that 15/16th mark on a ruler! thank you-I now believe I can make boxes of any size.

Tomeka! I thought you did a fantastic job! All that work too. Chipboard is difficult to work with anyway and you did a wonderful job. You're a genius!!!! Gives me much encouragement to do the same...cause I do a lot of 'eek' 'ugk' and 'oh no!'s' also :)

I agree with a comment below you made this really a lot less intimidating than so many other videos out there! And it isn't someone else is exact measurements I get to do my own! I am nowhere near good enough to try and figure out tiny measurements... Thanks to you now I can do it! TFS Best Wishes Always Carmen

Great box. If I want to make it longer then 12 inches how to I tape chipboard together? My box I need it 7 1/2 inches wide and 18 inches Ling. Need to make it sturdy as it will hold my magnetic boards with hot foil plates. It will be heavy. Your box direction looked so simple.
    Thanks for the great video

Help... Where did you get that double stick tape? I have been looking on Ebay and all I can see are Foam ones, or Dispenser Roll from out of country.... I need to get what you used here for my envelopes.

Hi friend , being I'm brand new to your channel I'm going to jump right in and ask how you measure the lid as it is a problem for me. I have give some thought and what if you cut another long strip that goes all around the inside of the box but sticks up one half inch taller than the box. Then if you use the same measurement of your box to make the lid the new piece placed inside the box would serve as a form to set your lid down on. If you have a better way I hope you will do a tutorial on it. Thank you for sharing your talent with us. 🙂💕💕💕

I can't edit something like this.. I have to do everything on my phone and it's not easy at all. I do a little editing but can't take things out. Trying to delete or trim on phone is very hard! However when I do longer videos like a "Plan With Me" I have to speed it up or it's way too long and I will add music to make it sound better. I have been learning as I go. The computer is so much easier to edit. It takes me hours to edit my videos. Drives me crazy.
