Better hooks (first 30 seconds) will improve our dreadful retention because most people aren't patient. Done. Better thumbs and titles? Yes please! Clickbait works which is why large channels grow so fast. More engaging edits? Sure, that's coming down the line. Showing my face to build trust? Fine, whatever. If it works I don't care. Comprise the excellent quality content we produce? Hell no. We cannot justify producing this high quality content going forward if the channel doesn't start growing a whole lot faster. Joe P.

Thank you for the kind words! That sounds like what we call a "yield trap." They're companies with unsustainable dividend yields. Usually one of two things happen: the company cuts their dividend, or the share price suffers so much that the high yield is a moot point. Or both! You were right to be suspicious.
