    Great video. Very detailed instructions. I plan on getting the books and taking the courses but just from these videos I have enough to practice daily. Even something as simple as alternate nostril breathing takes practice but I'm getting the hang of it. Thank you again for sharing these teachings. 🕉️

    Ryan, thank you for your channel - I just subscribed. I'm a long time meditator and 7 years a Kriya practitioner. My practice has become more refined and breathing through my nose with slight throat constriction facilitates a very deep experience. Do you have a comment about breathing through the nose?

      I breathe through the nose. Once you learn to experience the sensation of the breath in the core, mouth breathing is given up.

    Hello Ryan, I have been doing Kriya for a couple of months now (and it has made more of an impact than any other spiritual practice). And this video really resonated with me and made me change up a few things. I will pick up your Vichara book because mixing non-dual teachings and methods with Kriya . So just to be clear in your Kriya Pranayama you don't place OM's on your way up and down? I used to do that, but I actually get deeper when I just keep it simple like this, just moving the current up and down.

    Hi Ryan, you are doing a wonderful service to humanity..I am deeply motivated by your videos. All set to commit my life time to Kriya Yoga. I had read the autobiography of Sri Paramahamsa Yogananda guruji. it was very inspiring.
    I have a question for you. In your videos, the sitting posture is not visible. As I understand, Swamy used to sit in lotus posture for doing meditation and Kriya Yoga. But your videos do not have the same. why? Please show the lotus posture also in your videos..Thank you..

    Great video!
    Now you say Kriya Pranayama 14 times and Yoni mudra 3-5 times. Which one of them should be lengthened with time into more repetitions? I assume the yoni mudra?
    Lahiri Mahasaya is known to have had a student who wanted the second kriya. And the Master pointed to a blissful kriyaban for who even the first kriya already brought overwhelming results. So I assume the goal is to increase the repetitions as we devote more time to the first kriya.
    Can you kindly clarify that it is the yoni mudra repetitions that we can increase? Or do we just maintain the same 14-5 ratio between the two techniques?
    Thank you, as always.

    • @KriyaYogaOnline
      @KriyaYogaOnline  5 ปีที่แล้ว

      Yes, Kriya 1 increases by 12 incrementally. See the book Kriya Yoga Vichara for more details.

    • @spruceguitar
      @spruceguitar 5 ปีที่แล้ว

      Ryan Kurczak
      I surely will.
      For now, by 12 incrementally am I correct in understanding that:
      -Kriya Pranayama and Jyoti Mudra (ratio 14:5) can be lengthened into (14+12) : (5+ 12)?
      So I would practise KP: JM ratio
      from 14:5 to 26:17 to 38:29?
      Thanks in advance

    When you do the Kriya Pranayama, can you inhale through you nose while still making that noise at the back of your throat, or does it have to be done inhaling through the mouth. When I inhale through my mouth, I feel my teeth a bit sensitive and experience some discomfort to the cool air.

    Thanks a lot, Ryan. Even watching you through a screen, I feel like your quiet inner strength reaches me. I came across your channels recently, and I've watched your videos on Kriya Yoga meditation (beginner's guide). I have started practising the kriya yoga methods as taught by you in this video. Ryan, I wanted to ask you if there are dangers in practising the technique if I am not fully ready. I mean, I have watched your videos on when not to practise kriya, and I'm not looking for some sort of special power or siddhi or anything. I just want to try to help my soul to reach its destination. There is a lot of hoopla these days on the internet about opening the third eye (it's become some sort of 'cool' thing to say yeah my third eye is open and now I can contact beings from another realm and stuff), and there's a lot of stuff about the dangers of kundalini meditation, chakra meditation as well. Do you think these techniques are right for me? You said not to practise kriya when my life is not balanced, or when I'm trying to escape from something. I can say my life is quite balanced, both personally and professionally. I'm not meditating to change my life or something. I have been practising the hong sau technique for quite a while now, and have just started with the techniques you discussed in this video.

      Watch my playlists that take you through all my ideas on how to get started, and then come to your own conclusion, but if you are as balanced as you mention. You'll be fine. Also, see my video on Kriya Yoga Beyond the Hype.

    All Kriyavans at the time of there initiation agree not to teach the techniques to anyone.
