Sylvia Park School - Hot Air Balloon (Flying High Project)

Early this morning our kura was visited by Andrew from the Flying High Project. 30 very lucky year 7's spent the morning flying high above SPS in a hot air balloon.
The high flying students went up, up and away (about 30 meters up) before coming back down to earth. This awesome experience is to ignite our year 7's interest as they will be learning all about how the hot air balloon works over week 7.
As the hot air balloon went up we had the whole school community watching on (or watching up). We even had the wider community pulling their cars over to get a closer look.
We are super lucky to have amazing learning experiences like this SPS!

when I was coming to school I was late in the morning but when I looked up on the Sky I saw the hot balloon 🎈🎈 that was so cool 😎😎😎😎
