St. Philomena came unexpectedly into my life today and that in itself a miracle as I never heard of this miracle worker and another sign oh holy presence ❤️🙏
I am so blessed to live under her patronage at my parish church. She is a mighty worker for God and such a pure and steadfast soul. Pray for us little Philomena!

For all of you that know her story, it is a good thing for us to reflect on our lives and join our lives with hers. She had a steadfastness in faith that enabled her to endure what she suffered. It probably never crossed their minds that the emperor Diocletian was going to make a proposal like that. Would we ready like her if our faith was put to the test as she was? We should pray everyday, and especially to St. Philomena for faith, courage, hope, strength, purity, chastity, longevity, and love.

Look at her picture and you can see what purity looks like. But to know purity herself is the rarest of all of God's glories. I bought the chaplet years ago when living in Boston my children were doing the Mcass test for the first time and I read where if you pray for help during test for school this Saint would help them and they did good when they prayed to her I often pray to her but had not for about two years I was giving for my birthday and Infant of Prague statue I put my chaplet on the arm of my Infant of Prague tonight I was looking prayers to venerate the Statue not realizing and had forgotten the chaplet was on the arm so I scrolled down I thought I had found St Dynphia not realizing it was St Philomena I believe the Ifant of Prague led me right to St Philomena and start praying to her again do I believe yes I do think the baby Jesus wants me to start praying to the Saint again .

@Stipan M... Popes' +their agents' faith became cold/lost: to >not< do things for the maximum good of souls & glory to God, but instead to remove or lessen the good and the glory is a travesty beyond words.
Paul VI did harm beyond words in so many ways in his time.
Yet, what thinking person (not to mention, pope) would toss aside and reject the many stacks and boxes of repeated evidence of miracles, eye-witness testimonies, documented investigations, Church and Papal decrees and instructions that span over half a century; that, individually and combined, attest to the veracity of St. Philomena's life >and to the honor and power she has received from God? Who'd do that... rationally thinking it through? Nope. Doing that is Not about thought, logic, let alone about evidence. Paul VI at the very least didn't seriously think and examine all the data; even worse, he let his own or others' arrogance sinfully take over; he dared to believe for even a second that he +his advisors actually were wiser or know better >than all the popes, bishops, official Church researchers and eye-witnesses that came before them! And that documented miracles (which are >God's< personal seal of approval) somehow don't count?!! That's shows direct contempt for what God has made known! How dare Paul VI do that!
Yet, worst of all, Paul VI's decisions about Philomena (on top all the other harm he did) directly and indirectly enabled or even caused people's faith and love of God to lessen...and worse.
Lord have mercy.
(Personally, I doubt and don't accept PVI as a canonized saint, though I believe he was validly elected pope, but that's another topic.)

The Cord of Saint Philomena
The devotion to the Cord of Saint Philomena is the spontaneous result of the mercy of the faithful towards the Thaumaturgy. Its use was approved on 15 December 1883 by Pope Leo XIII, with the relevant indulgences.
In consideration of the countless graces received by intercession of the Saint, the desire of being under her powerful patronage blossomed. Everyone wanted to wear, in her honor, the blessed Cord in order to be protected in all the eventualities of life. The marvelous fruits of this devotion made her very famous.
The Saint Cure of Ars, who had many times experienced the Saint’s powers, loved seeing the faithful wearing the precious Cord and he would suggest this pious practice to everyone.
This pious devotion is a powerful aid not only to receive healings of the body, but in particular it is a defense against impure spirits. Regarding this, we wish to point out how the belts of some religious orders and the sacred parameters of the Mass are a symbol of chastity.
In this way, Saint Philomena will preserve, chaste and pure, safe from temptation, those who honour her virginal purity with this holy livery. Many steeped in the new rationalism of our days, find it hard to understand how a simple cord of thread can have the virtue of healing sickness of body and spirit. But these people are short on religious education, and do not realize that a Blessing from the Holy Church can deliver extraordinary virtues even to the simplest of souls. The hand of the blessing Priest, transmits to the substances healthy virtues for the body and the spirit, thanks to the merits of Jesus Christ’s Redemption.

@El Cid C... Try telling that to Saint John Vianney, Venerable Pauline-Marie Jaricot (who was healed by St. Phlomena), Pope Saint Pius X...etc.
Despite the impostors in the Vatican declaring such, the heretics JPII and Paul VI are not saints.
@@chriskozik2573 After doing more research, I think that the above article I posted is incorrect, as it fails to recognize that Pope Pius X established a universal arch-confraternity for Saint Philomena. The idea that a Pope would do such a thing for someone who was not truly a Saint is rash and scandalous.
@@XavierIsraelMatamoros I tend to fall into the Ryan Grant camp on this issue. A pronouncement of sainthood simply means that someone is in heaven, not that they lived a life of heroic virtue, although all candidates for canonization SHOULD have done so. I agree that the canonizations of Paul VI and JPII were rash and scandalous, but I do not subscribe to the idea that the Pope can err on a matter of canonization, for Saint Thomas says that that would be an affront to the indefectibility of the faith and the Church. By some miracle of God's grace, these two men slipped in. I may also mention that renowned traditional exorcist Father Chad Ripperger has said that JPII has been invoked during exorcisms to great effect. That is hard to ignore.
